Do you watch your local news on TV?

For this survey I am asking only about your local news that you get on your TV in your area where you live?

0I do not own a TV

I'm not even sure we have any local TV stations. And the stations that Dish Network considers "local" aren't even available anymore.

No, as I don't get any tv service.
I get most of my news online. Sometimes I'll read a local paper if I stumble across one (they're free, thankfully. I would never pay for that)

I read the local papers online (takes a few minutes to read the actual news) but I don't have a TV licence any more.

No; we have a local free newspaper, but I've not read it in years, not a great deal happens in my sleepy neck of the woods.

It's all I watch. I hate national news. Fortunately there is one station here that only does local news, so it's the only one I watch. So if you're ever wondering what is going on in my neck of the woods, check out WXMI 17

Not if I can avoid it. My wife likes to watch BBC World News. I've always disliked television news. Local news is particularly bad.

No. I much prefer to read my news. It's easier to keep distance from it that way: less real. Also, news people are generally irritating.

On the other hand, I grew up with a popular local newscaster, and I always get a kick of happening upon him when channel flipping. I never seek it out though.
