Film scanners will get 2700dpi easily (making an image of roughly 3800x2500 pixels ) which doesn't match the grain of good film. The best digital cameras will do 3000x2000, cost $20,000, and are big and bulky. That will buy a lot of film and a kick ass film scanner. |
