Jump to Survey	It depends. A picture of the person looking happy (whether they appeared ill or not) would be a plus. At our grandparents' funerals, we put together a mixture of photos from their lives. The large photo at my grandmother's funeral was actually the one that is on display at the hospital where she worked (on the "Wall of Fame").
