That 1 to 10 scale was goofy, what's the difference between a rating of 6 or 7 and how can that possibly track true across the entire survey group? Brian's choices are more explicit, simpler to choose from, and still seem to cover most of the bases wrt what people might think on the subject.

Be warned however that it's
just the tip of the iceberg! | | Jump to Survey | Pinochle, euchre, canasta, et al are played with modified 'traditional' decks - usually some subset of the numbers with multiple copies of each card (I don't remember them all, but pinochle is played with the 8-Ace of two decks, for instance).
Of the above listed, I'd say Bridge, although I haven't played it in a coon's age (literally).
My favorite of *all* card games is War of the Flowers - a Japanese card game that is played by three people. The deck has 48 (or 51 depending on the deck) cards, each one associated with a month of the year. Beautiful and challenging. |
