Be warned however that it's
just the tip of the iceberg! | | Jump to Survey | Pinochle, euchre, canasta, et al are played with modified 'traditional' decks - usually some subset of the numbers with multiple copies of each card (I don't remember them all, but pinochle is played with the 8-Ace of two decks, for instance).
Of the above listed, I'd say Bridge, although I haven't played it in a coon's age (literally).
My favorite of *all* card games is War of the Flowers - a Japanese card game that is played by three people. The deck has 48 (or 51 depending on the deck) cards, each one associated with a month of the year. Beautiful and challenging. |
