| Jump to Survey | If there was one thing I could go back & do over again in life, it would be that I would have kept "making music" a priority in my adult life. As with most people, I allowed music to become mostly a passive pursuit in adulthood, as other things in life took precedence over my enjoyment. It is one of my "before I die" vows now, to re-incorporate PLAYING music into my life. The only "active" musical pursuit I have now is singing, and even that has become a very private thing. I have many things that I could regret about my adult life, but of all of them I think this one has been the greatest overall loss. I can literally play any instrument handed to me, and yet I have built my life around *not* playing. Foolish. |
