Jump to Survey	I'm assuming you don't mean during lessons? I can't see any reason for banning sweets in general, but chewing gum is nasty and gets everywhere.

Jump to Survey	For some reason, I have in my head that newspaper ink is a common cause of incorrect blood sugar monitoring (contaminated fingerprick sampling). I'm sure I must have got that from somewhere, but I might have just made it up!
