The term "Charismatic" is over-used; but what famous individuals truly possess this quality?

Charisma is something to be wary of. It can easily hide serious idealogical issues.

Good answer. David Bowie and Mick Jagger are pretty charismatic too.

Considering who plooked out of wedlock in the Oval Office, I think even the Catholic church would be shy about calling it adultery... BTW my guess is that there have been fewer people that have had sex in the Oval Office than there have been men on the moon. Just a hunch, but think about it.

A humongous...er...bank account, for starters. Seriously, I think he's real smart and he seems interested in a great many things. And he seems very confident in his abilities to pull anything off. Those things combined in one person make for a pretty attractive person. Being an international rock god for over 40 years probably doesn't hurt his chances either...

The ones that are leaders of cults, terrorist organizations, and to a lessor extent politions. Hollywood actors are charismatic too.

I am more apt to name those in my personal life than personalities I haven't met yet. Their charisma could be a PR illusion, unless you have the experience of meeting these famous people...and then come up with your own conclusions. What you read in "Star" can't depict a personalities charisma.

I don't know any "famous individuals" personally so have no idea if they are charismatic or not.

I don't think this is something that can be turned on and off at will. If some famous person is only charismatic when out in public, how honest is that?
