I am assuming that you mean first time ever doing something not related to a certain day, because every new day anything you do is a first time on that day.
So in that case "I can't remember".

Yesterday - I tried calamari... and as I suspected, the flavor wasn't that bad, but the texture was awful. Now I've been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, and gave it away.

Within the last month I tried buying some prescription sunglasses using one of those on-line eyeglass shops.

I'm struggling to come up with something notable. I'm sure it would be easy to think of something minor (like the first time I read a particular book). Or, even something significant, but not something I'll do again. I visited Bermuda for the first time a few months ago, though I probably will never do that again (nothing against Bermuda per se, just too many other places I could go).

In the last week. I backed out of something that cost me a lot of money (more than a month's post-tax/pension pay, including part of the cost which was the single biggest payment that I have ever made on anything, ever) but it was definitely the right decision for me.

1 or 2 years ago I went to see a baseball game in Denver the first time in a very long time

Are they any good?

I ended up getting some Serengeti Drivers which I've always liked as regular sunglasses. I like the prescription ones too but they're definitely not the less expensive glasses that I was thinking of when I first started looking online.

Yesterday, I "Linked In" to a guy I met on the bus, and I traveled across my city via a series of skywalks.

I am learning to program using Javascript at work, so there's something new every day.

You backed out? What happened?

I feel sad(but lucky) to see that so many people can't think of anything recent.

Well I made this survey because of something I did that day. I just didn't answer.

I broke a security tag off pants. The store forgot to take it off. It did not ruin the pants. It wasn't the inky kind.

I signed up to sit my last postgraduate medical exam in a fit of motivation. Bad idea. It's far too soon after my most recent one and I got completely wound up about it. I just need a bit of a break before I tackle another one. I'm working full-time as it is, so any revision has to happen in my free time. It was a lot of money to walk away from, but it really wasn't worth what it was doing to me. I'm not really put to rights yet, but I definitely feel better than I did.

Alarms used to go off all the time when I left stores. For a few years, I was half convinced that I'd developed some sort of magnetic energy. My brother-in-law somehow makes clocks stop with his very presence, so it's not so far-fetched. One day folding laundry, I discovered a security tag attached to the pocket, inside an ancient pair of jeans.

Working full-time makes it super hard to be a student. I've been co-oping full-time for the past two terms, and I am too exhausted to cook or clean after work... let alone - study.

We signed up for a family membership at the YMCA like a week before Todd developed problems with extreme vertigo. He's been out of work for months, unable to drive or walk around much. We haven't been there a single time. I'm canceling the membership(for now) tomorrow.
