The last think I cooked in the oven was probably some roasted vegetables. But the last bakery-type thing I made was chocolate chip cookies.

Buns with lots of berries. I've been making the same recipe a lot recently:
2oz butter (melted)
2 oz sugar
2 eggs
Lots of vanilla extract (the good stuff)
Pinch of salt
2oz self-raising flour
A full pack of mixed frozen berries (which is a lot of berries)
All combined then spooned into bun cases. Granulated sugar sprinkled over the top. Then baked for about 25 mins (takes a while because of the frozen berries)

Very quick and easy, but very tasty.

I baked oatmeal regularly last spring. I'll probably go back to it again once I get home.

I baked garlic bread right after I baked a frozen lasagna.

I can not remember the last actual baked good I made. Maybe cornbread?

I had to look up bun cases: cupcake wrappers. I think you are baking muffins. I sometimes get a hankering for blueberry muffins covered with streusel topping.

That's a breadcake smile

There's actually huge regional variation in what British people call those. Where I'm from, it's a breadcake. Elsewhere they are buns, rolls, baps, cobs, barms, stotties, and I'm sure they have many more names. Bread roll is probably the most widely understood term. To most Brits, a bun would be something sweet - either a sweet yeasted enriched bread or what you would probably call a cupcake.

Those blueberry muffins look good. Of course, American muffins are oversized buns offering some pretence of virtue, whereas muffins are a kind of breadcake eaten split, toasted and buttered at breakfast wink

Good I haven't baked in a long time. I've baked pies, made from scratch...pumpkin, pecan, apple, rhubarb, and more. I miss baking. I've baked all sorts of things.
