Would you fly with him?

Let's say you fly on your next trip. After you board your plane, you find out that your captain was a Blue Angel pilot in the Navy. How would that make you feel?

VotesAnswer
13I'd feel extremely safe knowing he flew with an elite squadron.
3I have something else to say (OTHER).
1I'd actually hope that he would do a couple of rolls on my flight.
1I don't fly when I travel, so this question would not apply to me.
0I'd be scared that he'd start doing aerobatics on the flight.

I've not flown since 1979, so it didn't matter who my captain was, I'd not want to fly with them.

Pensacola, right? They truly are amazing! I'm so intrigued by them that they inspire me to try to do my regular daily activities as precise as they give their show--in a very organized manner.

I would think that was neat. I don't think I'd feel any safer; a lot of commercial pilots are former military pilots.

I would feel most comfortable with this pilot just hope that he does no loops or stunt flying eek

They're the best! Seen them three times--once when they flew the A-4 Skyhawk and twice in the F/A-18 Hornet.

No doubt that's the first thing the airlines look for when hiring new pilots--someone who has flown in the military, especially fighter pilots.

It certainly seems like a good way to find people with experience!

Nope no flying for me. I don't care who the pilot is.

Yes. I'd think he was skilled. I wouldn't assume he was nuts.
