Yes, I have 2 credit cards.

One I use regularly. I make most purchases with it, and pay off whatever bills I can (some can't be paid with a credit card). I pay off the card in full every month so as not to pay interest. Then I use the points I earn towards free groceries when I have enough.

The other is a back-up card - I only use it when I travel or in emergency situations.

I don't know if 'own' is the right description but I have some that I carry around with me and use from time to time.

I really should, so I can build up some good credit before I buy a house, but I've only ever had a debit card.

My credit cards own me! Just kidding. I was tempted to say "no" because they are all debit cards really (tied to an account that has a positive balance, so not really "credit"). But, they can be used as credit card (sign) or a debit card (pin). But, technically, we don't have or use credit. Actually, we just got new cards that have a chip on them. So, we can "dip" now (not just swipe)... very exciting! We have a main one, then one that's like a backup. And, I have others for my business and for a trust.

I don't like credit cards, they're a way to own you. When I was growing up, there weren't any credit cards, people lived within their means. Then in my 20's, out came the credit card system. I have four cards, but rarely use them. Usury is a sin.

Because of the money system, the young people today have been almost forced to have to use them. Whoever controls the money system, controls the people.

Yes, six credit cards, although I only actually started using credit cards in about 2000. Before then, I wasn't entirely sure how they worked!

There are people that do not own any credit cards shock ???
I have a couple (some places take one and not the other) that I use regularly and pay them off at the end of the month.

Only one - a medical card I use for big expenses like root canals or crowns. I haven't had a 'regular' credit card by choice for over 10 years now.

I use them because they are safer than debit cards. I pay them off at the end of the month (now that we are out of home improvement debt)

Good for you, staying out of debt as much as possible.

I still don't like the credit card system. Whatever happened to people living within their means? I knew one of my son's friends, who just married went into debt for $15,000. This was decades ago. Money problems causes marriage problems sometimes.

Do you own, or rent, credit cards? laughing out loud

I don't know if I technically 'own' my credit card, but I have two. One is my bank's card and the second one is the department store credit card.

Actually no one "owns" credit cards. They belong to the bank or agency that issues them. That's why they can take them back at any time.

I only have one now. I used to have about four, a long time ago, '80s...'90s.

I think I got my first credit card when I was 20. I don't like using credit cards, in general, but they have their uses -- especially when traveling.
