:... out in spots" from a recent nasty case of poison oak. "... wind"; I USED to break in shoes but with the kind I wear now I no longer need to go through all this. A mirror but not recently.

alliances (in a game of Diplomacy)
a condom (yikes)
my jaw (hairline fracture)
out (in breakout, the video game)
a record
a zipper (argh!... mom!)

water (you missed this! ...not that it applies to me)

A bone (though I was only three, so it was probably a greenstick fracture rather than a real break). A code (if cryptograms count). A fast (breakfast!). A promise (a few, not for a long time though). Down (emotionally, and I've been in broken down vehicles). For lunch (though often I don;t eat lunch when I'm on the go). In shoes (though shoes seem to need less breaking in now than they did when I was younger). Into song (rarely!). Out in spots (all too often). The law (probably, though I can't think of specific examples). Wind (well, yes...).

Oh, and there's this of course:

... wind. (Who hasn't?)
... in shoes. (A lot. Just recently. I have some I haven't broken in yet)
... into song. (Many many many times)
... a window. (OOPS)
... for lunch. (All the time. YUM)
... the law. (Mostly traffic violations)
... the silence. (Sometimes silence can be so annoying)
... a code. (Those little coded puzzles are fun)
... a heart. (Sorry)
... out in spots. (Does chicken pox count?)
... the speed limit. (Well, sometimes it is just too low for the type of road)
... a fast. (I'd starve to death if I didn't)
... a mirror. (OOPS)
... bad news. (Sorry)
... off relations. (Sorry)

I took the liberty of breaking down your answer into a poem...

laughing out loud That's a cool poem--you should post it in the what-kind-of-poetry-do-you-like survey!

If you moved them around a little, they could actually have sort of a flow with symbolic meaning... Maybe like this:

off relations... the silence... the law...
a promise... wind... into song
a fast... the speed limit.. down
a heart.. a code.. a mirror

I'm really trying to make it poetic and have some symbolic relationship type meaning but I end up thinking "oh wait, that sounds like a restraining order"... and if I have 'in shoes', 'out in spots' and 'for lunch' left over... hmmm

Started getting tired of clicking.. It would have been easier to ask which I haven't broken, much shorter list.
