What did you all think of the MTV awards lastnight?

There were MTV awards last night?

Didn't watch them.

I did not know they were on & I did not care. Same goes for the Emmys & the Oscars. Life is too short.

I didn't. I didn't know that they were last night, didn't watch them, and didn't read the review of them in the Arts section of the paper today.

Even my KIDS don't watch MTV!

Wow, I'm like the only one who watched them. Actually, I only saw the first half, I'll watch the other half later. I thought they were pretty cool. I always have liked them, because MTV always seems to provide an interesting show.

I agree life is too short Mimi, but I bet a lot of you stay up for endless hours typing your hearts out to "Survey Central"! ;) Music Television is for all ages. Believe it or not, it does provide some wonderful topics/facts for those interested in music.

I thought the Beastie Boys were terrific (as always), as well as The Dave Matthews Band. Madonna's little stint with Lenny Kravitz was "way cool" too!!

* Presti, Actually that does sound interesting... (I'm a Dave Matthews and Lenny Kravitz fan - though I hated both of their new albums). Still, I haven't been watching much TV recently and I'm so proud of myself. Oh, and I don't get MTV - if they actually played videos I might be more interested, M2 is better I suppose but I don't get that either.

i rarely watch MTV. i read recently (in billboard, maybe?) that there are days where mtv averages less than 3 videos per hour, and that there are hardly any days when it averages above 4. um, hello?
