| roozle | posted 19-Nov-2001 11:42am Wow. It was very beautiful. It was even worth being up all night. |
| juliw | posted 19-Nov-2001 12:34pm I forgot to, but as it turned out, it was too foggy to see them, anyway. |
| Avocado | posted 19-Nov-2001 12:43pm I looked a bit but didn't see any, partly 'cause I kept nodding off and partly because the passenger side of the car window was fogged. Rjinswand saw 3 of 'em. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 19-Nov-2001 1:38pm I planned to but it was quite foggy and I couldn't really see anything, but they showed them on the evening news the next night. |

| jjg | posted 19-Nov-2001 3:52pm Yes. The wife and I bundled up the kids shortly before 5:00am on Sunday and headed for the hills. My five year old daughter was impressed. The baby was only concerned with her bottle. |
| confetti | posted 19-Nov-2001 4:49pm Too much fog. But on Saturday nights, I'm pretty much seeing meteors everywhere. |

| SueBee | posted 19-Nov-2001 11:30pm Yes! It was an awesome display of mother nature's own fireworks! We saw dozens of shooting stars, some of them streaked across most of the sky. Some even appeared to have a red tint. It was really cool! We were amazed that they sky was clear at the right time here in the land of so much rain. We were outside watching from around 1 to 2 am, then watched more out the window from bed before falling asleep. |

| romkey | (reply to SueBee) posted 20-Nov-2001 12:17am yes, I had a cold and was woken up at 4am by my boyfriend to go sit outside in the 20 degree cold, so I made a pot of hot chocolate for everyone and had a mug with some Bailey's in it and it was wonderful |

| lion | (reply to romkey) posted 21-Nov-2001 2:00pm I missed out on the pot of hot chocolate, too many people dipped into the pot before I managed to get there. However, I was *way* caffeinated at that point. |
