I've done some of these in college: acting, art degree, music. Playing guitar and swimming came naturally.

I had recorder lessons when I was little. I was also a child model *smile* We had swimming lessons at school every week (they didn't work, I can't swim 10 metres) , and our games lessons consisted of gymnastics, tennis, badminton, basketball, netball, and aerobics.

All of these except for voice lessons, baton twirling, marching corps
and golf. Classic for an only child of a well-off family.

I'm guessing you mean outside of regular school. I took swimming lessons. I don't remember what level I completed, but I know that if I took three more years I could have been a lifeguard. Music lessons, I took three years of classical piano, two years of jazz piano, one year of clarinet, and one year of saxophone.

Ballroom dancing (how embarrassing), acting classes, musical instrument lessons, and (the ultimate in embarrassment) golf lessons - I was a teenager trying to do something "fun" with my mother. Blech!

I've taken acting, dancing, singing, guitar and art classes all in Junior High and High School.

The first house we lived on was on a river (my back yard was a dock), so I took swimming lessons as a 3-4 year old, and have always been a swimmer. I tried a summer's worth of voice, a few months worth of horseback riding, about six months worth of martial art and a lifetime worth of art classes (taking and teaching).

That was very sweet of you!
I tried golfing once. VERY frustrating to hit try to hit that little ball with that thin little club. I threw my boyfriend's club at him and stomped away. Then HE threw HIS club at ME and then we went and had sex.

For some reason I expected this survey to be about drug-taking and other not-so-socially-acceptable activites.

A lot of these things were mandatory at school. Music, drama, swimming, art. I was in a drama group when I was younger, and has ju jitsu lessons for a while.
