I would be honored to attend your "20th Birthday Bash" However,I don't think I'll have enough money saved up in time,to attend your way cool shindig....... * frown * You see, your birthday falls after XMAS & I'm usually really broke, right after the holidays. But,I'd like to thank you for your kind invite tho,Brian. * smile *

** scratching her head,& mumbling to herself "I wonder how much a round trip plane fare from California to Denver cost?" **

Is it okay if I mail you a birthday present instead? * smile * If you like,I would love to sculpt your name in styrofoam & paint it your favorite color.

If you think you'd like to have your name in styrofoam,my e-mail address is dabprovin@msn.com
Send me your snail address & your favorite color. Most of the people here at SC chose the dark blue with glitter. However,I can make it any color you want. It's your birthday! * smile *

Hey Dude! Howz it? I was wondering what happened to you guys. It's
really great, seeing you guys back,at SC again.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I did receive the way,WAY cool CD.Last week Monday or Tuesday.I've played it several times I especially love the new & improved Grateful Dead version of Dear Prudence. It's so refreshing to hear someone else's vision of a classic Beatle song.I love it!! I think it was pretty sneaky of you,to slip in your master jam of "Scott" in there.Very Cool!!I liked that also! Got lyrics??Are ever going to give it some lyrics someday?? The Plasticman jam was very cool!Strange but cool.

About the art work on the CD,is that your own art work?I really like that!In a nut shell I really love the CD.Thank you so much for thinking of me.You guys are the coolest!

Um,didn't you guys receive my E-mail? Must be my MSN again. It's been on the fritz lately.Sometimes it wont let me retrieve my e-mail for days.Kiss Noah for me & give your woman a big hug for me.Aloha! Cleo.....

Okay then, dark green it is! I'll mail it to you around the end of December. That way your sure to receive it by the time your Birthday rolls around. * smile *
The mail is really bad lately! You know.

Poor Maarten,he just received his name last week.& it was mailed a little over a month ago. There's some speculation that the package was of a suspicious nature, because of it's weight. * frown *

I just finished up 3 names today. They should be dried & ready for mailing after work tomorrow,or Tuesday.

My dear one, I'm entitled to my own opinion. If you're a Colorado man, you probably would dislike my thing for cold, windswept places by the ocean...but to each his own, and I wouldn't patronize you for having your own thoughts about things.
Skiing is awful.

but you could always just travel by car across europe, asia and russia. then hire some rustic fishermen to ferry you over to alaska. you might have to hoof it on foot from there to anchorage and buy a car, but then you can just drive down to colorado. see, then you wouldn't have to even touch the atlantic.

Well, thanks for the dig. I'm a very sporty person, but skiing is not my thing. I like being against nice hard pavement, playing baseball or basketball, or nice turbulent ocean, surfing or sailing. But slippery, cold white slopes? ¡No gracias!
Nothing's bad about places near the ocean. Places near the ocean are the best. But Colorado is not as near to the ocean as it could be.

Then we have to organise our own! I'm probably going to see my brother at Manchester sometime between now and Christmas - he won't want me around all day, so maybe we could meet up sometime? I know he's within walking distance of the Arndale Centre (sp?) and isn't that fairly central?

That was nearly 12 years ago believe it or not! I still remember that competition like yesterday. I had an extra bit that went on my head - it had proper twigs sticking out of it and it was really badly balanced. At the fancy dress competition we had to parade around and I couldn't see a thing because the head-piece had twisted round - I could see my feet but that was about it. I had to try and keep it on using my arms which I couldn't bend because of my costume! lol

My hair is still the same colour. It's mostly brown but it has reddish-blonde undertones in some lights. But I'm a lot taller now. I'm just over 5'6"

Recent pictures of me don't look as good! I'm not photogenic at all........If I have a good one taken (lol) I'll post it * smile *
Cleo
(reply to Biggles) posted 4-Nov-2001 12:25am

Oh my gosh! Your like as tall as my youngest daughter. I'm only 5ft.3 1/2 but I was way taller than my grand-mother(4ft 10in) & mom (5ft). **all smiley faced**

I did win * smile * My mum and me always came up with interesting costumes. My best ever was probably a scarecrow. It was old tatty clothes, wellies (rubber boots), and a broom handle up the back of my top. All that with loads of straw stuffed inside! I was a sight!!! lol

My paternal grandmother is actually taller than me by about half an inch but the other one is smaller. My older brother was always bigger than me, but now my little brother is about 4 inches bigger - and still growing! * frown * I feel all small!

I can see that you like competition. Far-out! So do I,but only Halloween costume & photography contests.

Congrats on your win! * wink * Was the scarecrow costume uncomfortable? I can't imagine walking around for any length of time with the broom handle up my back, not to mention all that straw too. * frown *
