Variety, prices, easy. I shop for things that aren't available in local stores, or to take advantage of international exchange rates and buy things that work out cheaper, even including postage, that they would be from a store down the road.

I buy pet supplies in bulk off the internet because it's cheap.
Sometimes I buy clothes off the internet because the stores in my town are not very diverse.

Shopping online sucks. Just the other day I tried to order a NY Yankees fleece. Price: $70,- P&P: $80,-
I THINK NOT ! ! ! !

I've only bought things that weren't available elsewhere.

I don't, only because I don't have a credit card. But I would for the convenience and the fast ability to check prices from company to company.

I would buy really cheap cigarettes!

There are some things you can "only" find, with ease, on the net....
There are things I find ...uh...easier to buy from the privacy of my home...in a plain brown wrapper...
I find prices are better at times and NO SALES TAX!
There are certain places I like to buy things from that don't have retail stores close to my home...or that carry a limited supply of things in the retail shop and have an expanded catalogue online...

speed and convenience matter too...

I never shop on the Net. I'd feel like an idiot. Besides, I hate shopping so much I might as well go with the whole experience; crowded malls, sipping sugary lattes, escalators.

I buy all my music CDs, and increasingly, computer games on the web now. It's cheaper than the high street, the range is better, and the delivery in a lot of cases is free. I use my works address and get the stuff delivered to my desk. It's easy. I've also booked festival tickets over the net.

I buy things like CDs, books and software because it's often cheaper and more convenient. I get a lot of CDs from the US, because even with shipping it's a lot cheaper than UK prices.

The few times I ordered things, it was because I couldn't find them anywhere else. I guess doing a whole lot of shopping on the net would have it's advantages: avoiding crowds, avoiding lines and not having to talk to people.

I like to shop at 4am, and buy strange, obscure things. I also like buying used goods when it's reasonable, and there's a huge selection of used stuff on the net that's harder to find locally sometimes.

Use the other kind of internet shopping- drop me some email telling what you want, and I can buy it and post it to you and you can post me a check. * smile *
