10 years ago I got sucked in to the Luke and Laura thing on General Hospital, but I've been clean and sober ever since...

Y&R I love to watch. But I've coem to hate all soaps. I think they are way off to what's really out there in the real world. If for anything, they are entertaining to watch and laugh at :)

Where's the "I don't watch soap opera's" option? I am afraid I have never gotten into that genre of entertainment...I have much too busy a day to plop myself in front of the tube.

I don't do the soap thing, but my man is a Y&R guy, so I'm answering on his behalf.

Soap operas are pathetic. Seriously, go out and do something outside of living vicariously through a bunch of fake people.

I watched GH every day for 15 years, so it has my loyalty, even though I haven't seen any of them in years.

I hate to admit it, but I was into Days of our Lives back in college. But I haven't watched any soaps in years now.

Unfortunatelly, if these soaps are showed in spanish TV's, it's sure that the translators have choosed another title. It's a very extended habit here. :( (The only exception is GENERAL HOSPITAL, wich translation its very simple.) But, in general, I hate soap operas, but there are some very good exceptions...

Actually, I haven't watched a soap opera in decades. But my mother used to watch Days when I was young, and when I hear the theme music I can smell the kitchen I grew up in and feel the early afternoon sun on my face...

Used to be Days but can't stand Billie or oh, I can see his stupid face and hear his dumb accent but cannot remember his characters name.

I watch too much and too many soap operas, but general hospital is my fave, unless x-files is considered a soap (as it is by some people I know)

No "other"? I really liked the prime time "Soap".

The only reason As The World Turns gets it is because of the charater Lucinda Walsh. She is the fiercest thing on television.

Don't watch soap operas. Or really much TV at all. Most of my friends that do watch them like General Hospital though.

Oh my God, did anyone see what happened to Donny on Days of Our Lives? What a dog Matilda is, and the doctor he almost saved the baby but instead it turned out to be a hoax. I just hope that Bob can get rid of that strange obsessive/compulsive masturbation disorder, so he and Jenny G. can get back together.

I haven't seen any of them. (Well, OK, I know I saw a couple of episodes of probably all of them in 1987/88 but I would not be able to tell you which was which.)

Simply because it is the one my mom records.. I get to see it every 6 months or so when I visit home.. otherwise I couldn't care less, but some of the actresses are quite attractive.. 8) (ah.. being a pig can be such fun).
