What playing card games do you know how to play?

How did bridge make it in there twice?

Spades, Hearts, Rummy and Gin Rummy I've played but I always forget how to play them until reminded. I know Go Fish, War, B.S., Solitaire, and lots of kinds of Poker.

No one told me I had bridge twice! No wonder my rating is so crappy! Wait, if you are supposed to let me know, then it's
YOUR FAULT!

Anyway, I know most of the above plus a lots more. And about ten ways or more to play solitaire.

I checked 7 of them, but aside from types of Solitaire, I would have to have my memory refreshed. I haven't played cards with anyone for a long time, I guess.
I used to play Euchre ALL the time in college, would skip classes for tournaments. And I think spades and hearts are pretty much the same.

All of these. You forgot 'Memory' and some others, too.

Blackjack.

And what about bridge? ;)

Rummy, Gin, Go Fish, Cheat, solataire, poker and many many many others not listed.

Hearts, Euchre, soltaire, war, go fish, crazy eights, and spit in the ocean, I love to play Uno.

You mentioned Bridge two times. And by the way, Bridge and Rummy are the same thing.

I only picked the ones I feel confident about knowing the rules of. There were a couple (Bridge, Euchre) that I played years ago, and only vaguely remember how to play.

I like card games. We are working our way through Hoyles book at the moment.

I can play (names are different in US/UK to the extent that the blackjack we play is no relation to the US blackjack, etc): Blackjack, Pontoon, Trumps (Whist), Chinese patience (more than one person), Rummy, Beggar Me Neighbour (probably actually "my"!), various versions of solitaire.......others that I have no name for.

I was also taught how to play Crap-Head but I don't think I remember the rules.

Many types of solitaire, many types of poker. German Whist. Mao -- though knowing how to play Mao is different from knowing the rules. I've played Bridge, and while I can handle the card play, I don't really understand the bidding conventions used. I've also played Spades and Knockout Whist and some other card games, but don't really remember the rules.

Should I have marked one of the "Bridge" options and not the other, since I half way know how to play?

Rummy, Gin Rummy, Go Fish, War, Pinochle, Canasta, Poker & Solitaire.
Also a few other card-type games like Uno & Skip-Bo. I LOVE playing cards! (Hey....bridge is listed twice..... )

And Hare Krishna---Thx for the pick up, it was really getting me down. I was on the edge of the bridge with my knees bent when someone said "Look, it's above 50%" I then feel back into humanity with the last struggle...

I love playing cards, but the only game I play with any regularity is Poker.

EUCHRE ?? Never heard of that one.But,I've played just about all of the above except,BRIDGE,SPADES & HEARTS.
But,now that I see above,that Bridge is the same as RUMMY,then I guess Ive played BRIDGE/RUMMY.....also.

Question? What's the difference between HEARTS & SPADES besides the obvious? I mean,are there different rules to these two card games?They sound like they'er pretty much similar.

Is'nt BLACK JACK the same as 21 ?? I 've played that too.

My favorite card game is a Japanese card playing game called SAKURA also known as HANAFUDA. Which has a soft deck(much like the Bicycle deck of cards) & also a small hard deck.

Euchre is played somewhat like spades. There is a trump suit but it can be any suit (this is decided by the players). It's a much quicker game. It is generally played with 9 through Ace. The order of the trump cards is different too. It's my favorite game.

Yes, yes and no! I have played chase the ace, but Cheat is much more fun! I lost all my early games because I couldn't lie convincingly - I soon learned!

Also,isn't 21,one in the same as Black Jack?

American Blackjack is the same as 21, but UK Blackjack is different. We call 21, Pontoon.

I've seen it in print as 'Mao', with the explanation that in Communist China and particularly under Mao one never knew from one minute to the next what the rules were.

I believe it's the same game.

Raps was a variant on Chase the Ace, except at the end the loser had their knuckles "rapped" with the deck of cards.
