| anoddoblivion | posted 29-Aug-2001 6:53pm Dragon Warrior four was the all time greatest RPG I have ever played. Final Fantasy one was pretty good, but I think I'll have to go with DW4. I oove the DW style, and FF1 is almost the same. |

| confetti | posted 29-Aug-2001 7:57pm The only video game of any kind I can tolerate is Pokémon. Best idea ever. Does anybody here have Gold or Silver version? I'm a jackass and need some help with it. |
| Matt | (reply to confetti) posted 29-Aug-2001 8:24pm I have the Gold Version, what would you like to know? |
| Cleo | posted 29-Aug-2001 11:56pm Zelda is the only one I've ever played. |
| Jemmy | posted 30-Aug-2001 10:44am never played one. |

| confetti | (reply to Matt) posted 30-Aug-2001 8:07pm Great! Okay, about the ruins of the Alph; I already solved all the little puzzles. How do I solve the whole thing? The legendary Pokémon in Whirl Islands. How do I get it? |
| Matt | (reply to confetti) posted 31-Aug-2001 12:39am I was trying to write it but it was taking forever, so I got these links for you, they have the info you want there This is for the legendary Pokemon Lugia http://www.geocities.com/poke2site2/CatchingLugia.html And this is for the ruins of Alph http://www.geocities.com/poke2site/TsunCave.html |
| Biggles | posted 31-Aug-2001 9:49am I'm not sure what is meant by a "video system"?? But I haven't played any of the above games. I've played various RPGs (both on the computer and in real life) though. |
| Brian | posted 31-Aug-2001 2:47pm My kids got me involved in the Zelda series a few years back. I was addicted, 'till my wife yelled at me for not taking the garbage out for three months. |
| Brian | (reply to confetti) posted 31-Aug-2001 2:51pm I really need to introduce you to my sons. They are Pokemon fanaatics and have almost every conceiveable video game/toy that the blankety-blank Pokemon people market. Gold, silver, yellow, blue, whatever. So which is your favorite Pokemon already? (The kids call me "Snorelax". Gee, what a thrill that is!) |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 31-Aug-2001 4:47pm I don't play them, but my son loves Lunar I & II, Final Fantasy & Legend of Legia. He also plays Baldur's Gate (1 & 2), but I am not sure if they are RPG's. |
| confetti | (reply to Matt) posted 31-Aug-2001 5:18pm Thanks! |
| confetti | (reply to Brian) posted 31-Aug-2001 5:21pm That's hilarious! Even better than the critters (which are wonderfully drawn and conceived) is that little imaginary world. The elevator in the department building, the bicycle, the casino...it must be incredible to be an animator. I like Natu, the Picasso-inspired little bird. |
| Matt | (reply to confetti) posted 31-Aug-2001 5:54pm De nada. |
| heyzeus1 | posted 1-Sep-2001 1:57am ULTIMA IV!!!!! |
| Gamera | posted 1-Sep-2001 2:11pm I like RPG's, just not video based ones. |
| anoddoblivion | (reply to heyzeus1) posted 1-Sep-2001 10:42pm I've played "Ultima:Exodus" and "Ultima:Quest of the Avatar". Is Ultima IV either one of these? Just curious. Because "Quest of the Avatar" was pretty freikin' awesome. |
| anoddoblivion | (reply to Matt) posted 1-Sep-2001 10:44pm And confetti1- Have ya'll played "Pokemon Stadium"? I haven't gotten into the actuall games yet, but I really like The Stadium games. Just curious. |
| Matt | (reply to anoddoblivion) posted 1-Sep-2001 11:45pm I've played both Stadium games. I mostly used it to be able to play the gameboy games on a tv. I would like to see a pokemon game where the game play is more like a Street fighter type game where you could move and controle the pokemon, not just press one button and see the moves being made. |
| Jean7777 | posted 2-Sep-2001 3:12pm I like a Nintendo game called Star Tropics. |
| anoddoblivion | (reply to Matt) posted 2-Sep-2001 3:51pm I'm an RPG fanatic, but that still sounds fun. |
| Matt | (reply to anoddoblivion) posted 2-Sep-2001 5:23pm Well, the battle mode in pokemon stadium is a lot like a rpg game battle. If you have the gameboy game and like it, then its a good buy. |
| Brian | (reply to confetti) posted 3-Sep-2001 9:02am Ahh..I shall have to ask my kids to show me a Natu. Yesterday I learned that we are now up to 250 Pokemon instead of the original 150...it appears the little bastards are cross-breeding! |
| confetti | (reply to Brian) posted 3-Sep-2001 2:58pm |
| Brian | (reply to confetti) posted 3-Sep-2001 3:29pm Hmmm...the inventors of Pokemon already have too much of my money. |
| Missalee | posted 3-Sep-2001 8:45pm Final Fantasy 8 was good, but so was legend of mana... I didn't look for the name... whatever... |
| heyzeus1 | (reply to anoddoblivion) posted 11-Sep-2001 6:30pm u4 was quest of the avatar. but it really sucked on the nintendo. if you played it on that, forget it you missed the whole story. |
