What is the best RPG you have ever played on a video game system.

Dragon Warrior four was the all time greatest RPG I have ever played. Final Fantasy one was pretty good, but I think I'll have to go with DW4. I oove the DW style, and FF1 is almost the same.

The only video game of any kind I can tolerate is Pokémon. Best idea ever. Does anybody here have Gold or Silver version? I'm a jackass and need some help with it.

I'm not sure what is meant by a "video system"?? But I haven't played any of the above games. I've played various RPGs (both on the computer and in real life) though.

My kids got me involved in the Zelda series a few years back. I was addicted, 'till my wife yelled at me for not taking the garbage out for three months.

I really need to introduce you to my sons. They are Pokemon fanaatics and have almost every conceiveable video game/toy that the blankety-blank Pokemon people market. Gold, silver, yellow, blue, whatever. So which is your favorite Pokemon already? (The kids call me "Snorelax". Gee, what a thrill that is!)

I don't play them, but my son loves Lunar I & II, Final Fantasy & Legend of Legia. He also plays Baldur's Gate (1 & 2), but I am not sure if they are RPG's.

That's hilarious! Even better than the critters (which are wonderfully drawn and conceived) is that little imaginary world. The elevator in the department building, the bicycle, the casino...it must be incredible to be an animator. I like Natu, the Picasso-inspired little bird.

I like RPG's, just not video based ones.

I've played "Ultima:Exodus" and "Ultima:Quest of the Avatar". Is Ultima IV either one of these? Just curious. Because "Quest of the Avatar" was pretty freikin' awesome.

And confetti1- Have ya'll played "Pokemon Stadium"? I haven't gotten into the actuall games yet, but I really like The Stadium games. Just curious.

I've played both Stadium games. I mostly used it to be able to play the gameboy games on a tv. I would like to see a pokemon game where the game play is more like a Street fighter type game where you could move and controle the pokemon, not just press one button and see the moves being made.

I like a Nintendo game called Star Tropics.

I'm an RPG fanatic, but that still sounds fun.

Well, the battle mode in pokemon stadium is a lot like a rpg game battle. If you have the gameboy game and like it, then its a good buy.

Yesterday I learned that we are now up to 250 Pokemon instead of the original 150...it appears the little bastards are cross-breeding!

Final Fantasy 8 was good, but so was legend of mana... I didn't look for the name... whatever...

but it really sucked on the nintendo. if you played it on that, forget it you missed the whole story.
