Oh,big time!! Even after she called me a few times to come down,I kept saying,"alright, alright,I'm coming." that went on for a few minutes or so.She finally had to come up & put her head in front of the monitor."Mom,I'm late for work!" .....Alright,I'm almost done answering this survey question."

No. At work, we have those dummy computers that can only be used for data entry. At home, nobody minds my using the computer.

Not 'caught', but I lose track of time when I'm here. If I check in while I'm supposed to be getting ready for work I end being late. I've learned not to log on unless I have plenty of spare time. I'm a newbie, perhaps this will pass?

My boss kind of "caught me", in that he walked up behind me once when I was accessing SC instead of working. But my company is laid-back, and no one says anything about leisure activities you may engage in during your workday as long as you produce.

Okay, you're cool! Are you actually from my generation, or were you into those newer Scooby cartoons with Scrappy? Scooby Doo was one of my favorite cartoons back in the early 70's -- or maybe it even started in the late 60's, I'm not sure. You weren't the actual voice of Scooby, were you? You do it so well! * smile *

(reply to SueBee) posted 12-Aug-2001 1:03pm
 * laughing out loud * I AM THE GREAT AND POWERFUL SCOOBY! * winking raspberry *

As for generation, I'll be turning 38 in a few months. Scrappy-Doo as a character never really spoke to me (no, I don't hear cartoon voices in my head).

The 'toons I love:
Scooby-Doo
Danger Mouse
Ren & Stimpy (before Kricfalusi left)
Prometheus and Bob (ok, so it's technically NOT a cartoon)
Invader Zim (my latest addiction)
Duckman
Aeon Flux
Blackstar
Bugs Bunny (who doesn't love Bugs?)
Dexter's Laboratory
The Mask

Ok, I'm ranting...

Pretty close -- I'm a couple years older. I used to peel several carrots before Bugs Bunny came on so I could sit and eat them during the show! LOL Oddly enough, I never got the urge to eat spinach when I was watching Popeye.

I love fresh spinach salad, or spinach in things (like quiche, or even spinach & feta cheese pizza) but I still can't stand canned spinach.

Whoa! Try to say THAT three times fast.

I'm crazy about spinach quesadillas myself, but canned spinach w/apple cider vinegar on it is sooo good. I've also heard that fresh spinach salad helps induce labor, not that I wanna test THAT hypothesis.
