| confetti | posted 4-Aug-2001 9:15pm I've always felt older. At fourteen I feel 25. |
| Gamera | posted 5-Aug-2001 12:56am I am 33, and I tend to think of myself as being in my mid to late 30's. I started thinking I was in my thirties when I was about 27. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 5-Aug-2001 1:24am It depends on how I feel physically. Somedays I feel older, some I feel younger. The weather has a lot to do with how I feel-I'm one of those people who is affected by weather changes. |
| heyzeus1 | posted 5-Aug-2001 2:38am (.23/34*(~)/(2/4(7)+8)*.1)=+/-31 |
| heyzeus1 | posted 5-Aug-2001 2:40am more or less... |
| Kris13 | posted 5-Aug-2001 6:16am i'm 17....but all my friends think i'm 35....i'm too "mature." |
| jettles | posted 5-Aug-2001 8:12am i always think of myself as younger than i am........maybe late twenties or early thirties...... i don't stumble over it as often as i used to though! |
| justjulie | posted 5-Aug-2001 9:01am I have a hard time remembering that I'm going to be 24. usually I think that I'm younger than that. But then there are times that I feel ancient! Like, my little baby cousin just graduated and is going off to college...I remember when he was born! So I don't know how to feel in those situations...am I really really old, or are they just finally catching up? |
| mikecap | posted 5-Aug-2001 9:59am I don't think I have a chronological age in mind, but compared to most friends my age (27), who constantly complain how they are "getting old", I feel like a spring chicken. I've always looked older, people have always said I look about 10 years older than I actually am. Most of my friends are settling down and having kids because they think "I'm old now" and have to do that. They don't stay up late, they don't drink as much, and they work hard - so they *must* be old now (these are the things I hear). Very foolish things to say, in my opinion. :) |
| Biggles | posted 5-Aug-2001 10:26am I don't really think of myself in terms of age. I feel too young for some stuff, too old for other stuff - it all depends. |
| mandy | posted 5-Aug-2001 2:40pm 21 |
| Jemmy | posted 5-Aug-2001 3:05pm It depends on what I am doing and how I feel. I usually feel as though I don't have an age, I just exist. Age doesn't mean too much too me anymore. |
| jkiehart | posted 5-Aug-2001 3:29pm I know exactly what you mean! I look younger than my age, I feel younger than my age, I have less responsibility than many other 28-year-olds. I generally think I'm 24. I'll be 29 in a little over a month, too. |
| Zang | posted 5-Aug-2001 5:49pm Pushing 40 real hard. Seven and a half months to go... |
| callen610 | posted 5-Aug-2001 6:42pm I think I'm my age (24), but I do still think of my parents & grandparents as younger than they are. |
| Oscar | posted 5-Aug-2001 10:16pm I think I'm twenty...almost twenty-one. |
| HareKrishna | posted 6-Aug-2001 12:14am I am the soul. The soul is not born. The soul does not die. |

| Cleo | posted 6-Aug-2001 3:22am My mind says I'm 18-21 but my body KNOWS better!! |
| Brian | posted 6-Aug-2001 10:26am My ages are as follows: Mentally: 13 Physically: 113 Actually: Old enough to know better. |
| Brian | (reply to Cleo) posted 6-Aug-2001 10:29am Hey! What's this? One of us is rubbing off on the other. > |
| happyme | posted 6-Aug-2001 5:14pm "And it feeeels liiike I'm seventeen again..." Anyone ever heard that song? |
| Cleo | (reply to Brian) posted 6-Aug-2001 11:42pm No,No,It's too darn hot to do any sort of rubbing. But then again....... |
| Cleo | (reply to happyme) posted 6-Aug-2001 11:43pm Who sings it??? |
| davethebrave371 | posted 7-Aug-2001 2:23am I'm 16, but I often think I'm 48 (don't ask, even I'm not 100% sure why). |
| Brian | (reply to Cleo) posted 7-Aug-2001 9:10am lol It's never too hot or too cold in cyber-space. However, such "activity" leaves me flat. 'Cause the only way cyber-sex works for me is if I use my body as a mouse pad. |
| Cleo | (reply to Brian) posted 7-Aug-2001 9:39am Oooooooh,Hot sweaty cyber-space sex? Interesting!!!New concept?!?! |
| Pooh_Bear | posted 7-Aug-2001 9:42am Wow, I'm amazed so many people answered this and only one said they didn't get it. I figured I was the only crazy one with age issues. Anyway, what brought this survey on was that I had to have a parent-teacher conference with my daughter's daycare. Parent-teacher conference? Ack - my Mom's supposed to go to those!! It made me feel very, very old. |
| Cleo | (reply to Brian) posted 7-Aug-2001 9:43am Not to get off the subject or anything, but do you remember what link you posted the Irish joke about the man on the side of the road?? I love that.I wish I would've printed it when I had the chance. It was so charmingly funny!! I lolve dit. |
| Brian | (reply to Cleo) posted 7-Aug-2001 10:12am Ahh...which subject to talk about? Like many internet using folks I examined cyber-sex briefly, but found this to be a gigantic waste of time and emotional energy. (If I get "desperate", I'll just stick to a beat-up old Playboy magazine and ten minutes in the john, thank you very much.) Mostly, I wait 'til I get home to my affectionate wife who is more fun than any machine...with the possible exception of a Dust Buster. The joke I think you are referring to is about a Scotsman. Too long to tell again here. I'll try to remember which survey it is in. |
| Cleo | (reply to Brian) posted 7-Aug-2001 10:57am Yep,that be the one! & yes it was a bit long but, well worth reading. Please try to remember which survey,as it made my day,the day I read it.I'll be waiting right here, all day.Not going anywhere. No pressure okay? Thanks Brian! |
| phi | posted 8-Aug-2001 8:44am I'm 31, but sometimes I have trouble subtracting (or more to the point, remembering that it's August and not April) and get 30. I definitely feel like I'm somewhere around 30, and have done since my friends threw me a kick-ass, once-in-a-decade birthday party for my 29th birthday. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 9-Aug-2001 4:25am For a few years I felt about a decade younger (but knew better). Now, I forget my age and always have to calculate it from scratch, being born Mar 23, 1963, I'm depressed to find I'm actually 38, not 37 as I was hoping/imagining. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Brian) posted 9-Aug-2001 4:33am I just had that quote running through me today. I'd concluded that most of my life I was older than 'old enough to know better', that gave way to actually knowing better; now I've concluded I'm merely old enough to wish I knew better. |
| Brian | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 9-Aug-2001 9:11am ROFL You have hit the nail on the head. |
| kaleb777 | posted 10-Aug-2001 3:18pm Older. I rapidly lost my sense of play around age 29. I now feel guilty if I spend too much time doing things that don't really acheive anything, like coming to SC. I feel guilty whenever I do something silly-fun because I keep thinking I'm not using my time wisely. |
| juliw | posted 10-Aug-2001 8:18pm Usually, I feel younger than my age. Next week, I will be the ripe old age of 47. But, there are times when I feel old, especially when I hear myself calling stores by the names they were called 20 years ago, or saying I got a new album when I get a new CD. |
| teenage_misfit | posted 14-Aug-2001 8:06pm Well actually, i know i'm 15. But other people don't. I went to get my driver's permit and the lady asked me 3 times, "Are you sure you're 15". Also one time i was at a store and this lady comes up to me and says, "You're a little kid and kids aren't suppossed to wear make-up!" She made me mad. She was embarrassed when i told her i was 15. LOL |
| Missalee | posted 15-Aug-2001 7:11pm For some reason I think I'm about a year older then all my friends... Maybe it's because I"m about a foot taller then them... |
| baer | posted 16-Aug-2001 4:16pm 51 |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to kaleb777) posted 17-Aug-2001 3:43am That's hard to recover from. |
| kaleb777 | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 17-Aug-2001 4:23pm Tell me about it. |
| Jean7777 | posted 19-Aug-2001 8:20pm I think I'm around 25 yet. |
| kentbrockman | posted 23-Aug-2001 5:16am I belive I am 1 and a half years old. I still wear a nappy and enjoy wetting myself, the occasional number two is also a pleasure. |
| dora | (reply to teenage_misfit) posted 25-Aug-2001 6:00am Oh god,how I understand your situation! I'm 22,look about 13 (I guess...maybe younger |
| usfmom | posted 25-Aug-2001 6:33am Chronologically I am 42 but I feel like I'm in my late 20's. |
| KissofTreachery | posted 26-Aug-2001 6:30pm I think I'm older. I'm not sure how old. Chronologically i'm 16, but I find 90% of my peers to be blundering idiots who think getting drunk is something to brag about, and a throbbing hangover is their trophy. As well as other stupidity/naivete proofs... I wouldn't say I'm all-wise, heh, hardly; I just think my mind is something of mid, maybe late twenties or so. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to jen) posted 27-Aug-2001 10:48pm Thanks much. School started today and I knew I could pull off 25 but decided that was the minimum I'd go. (I went for about 32 with grandmotherly tastes.) Not bad for going on 39. People look at my size 12 1/2 feet and think they're 9's. I can also elicit a "ma'am" dressed totally as a guy. Back when i was 25 they thought I could pass for many years older. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to kentbrockman) posted 28-Aug-2001 2:15pm Yuck!!!! I hope you are kidding. |
| heyzeus1 | (reply to HareKrishna) posted 1-Sep-2001 1:26am that is how old i think i may be possibly more or less somewhat. |
| HareKrishna | (reply to heyzeus1) posted 3-Sep-2001 12:00am OIC. You are not the body, you are the soul. The soul is eternal. Hare Krishna! |
| autumnlight | posted 5-Sep-2001 2:03pm I feel older than my 17 years. I definitely feel about 20. I do most of the stuff that 20 year olds do and experienced a lot in my short life so far. |
| Iseult | posted 7-Sep-2001 8:46pm I feel older... like 21. |
| blazerchic01 | posted 9-Sep-2001 8:15pm I'm 18. I'm not about to forget that!! |
