How old do you think you are?

Often, I have a hard time remembering I'm 27. I sometimes think of myself in my late teens or early twenties. And I think that my parents are in their late thirties or early forties, when they are actually in their mid-fifties. So, how old do you think you are?

I am 33, and I tend to think of myself as being in my mid to late 30's. I started thinking I was in my thirties when I was about 27.

It depends on how I feel physically. Somedays I feel older, some I feel younger. The weather has a lot to do with how I feel-I'm one of those people who is affected by weather changes.

I have a hard time remembering that I'm going to be 24. usually I think that I'm younger than that. But then there are times that I feel ancient! Like, my little baby cousin just graduated and is going off to college...I remember when he was born! So I don't know how to feel in those situations...am I really really old, or are they just finally catching up?

I don't think I have a chronological age in mind, but compared to most friends my age (27), who constantly complain how they are "getting old", I feel like a spring chicken. I've always looked older, people have always said I look about 10 years older than I actually am. Most of my friends are settling down and having kids because they think "I'm old now" and have to do that. They don't stay up late, they don't drink as much, and they work hard - so they *must* be old now (these are the things I hear). Very foolish things to say, in my opinion. :)

I don't really think of myself in terms of age. I feel too young for some stuff, too old for other stuff - it all depends.

It depends on what I am doing and how I feel. I usually feel as though I don't have an age, I just exist. Age doesn't mean too much too me anymore.

I know exactly what you mean! I look younger than my age, I feel younger than my age, I have less responsibility than many other 28-year-olds.

I generally think I'm 24. I'll be 29 in a little over a month, too.

lol It's never too hot or too cold in cyber-space.
However, such "activity" leaves me flat.
'Cause the only way cyber-sex works for me is if I use my body as a mouse pad.

Wow, I'm amazed so many people answered this and only one said they didn't get it. I figured I was the only crazy one with age issues. Anyway, what brought this survey on was that I had to have a parent-teacher conference with my daughter's daycare. Parent-teacher conference? Ack - my Mom's supposed to go to those!! It made me feel very, very old.

Ahh...which subject to talk about? Like many internet using folks I examined cyber-sex briefly, but found this to be a gigantic waste of time and emotional energy. (If I get "desperate", I'll just stick to a beat-up old Playboy magazine and ten minutes in the john, thank you very much.) Mostly, I wait 'til I get home to my affectionate wife who is more fun than any machine...with the possible exception of a Dust Buster.

The joke I think you are referring to is about a Scotsman. Too long to tell again here. I'll try to remember which survey it is in.

I'm 31, but sometimes I have trouble subtracting (or more to the point, remembering that it's August and not April) and get 30.

I definitely feel like I'm somewhere around 30, and have done since my friends threw me a kick-ass, once-in-a-decade birthday party for my 29th birthday. * smile *

For a few years I felt about a decade younger (but knew better). Now, I forget my age and always have to calculate it from scratch, being born Mar 23, 1963, I'm depressed to find I'm actually 38, not 37 as I was hoping/imagining.

I just had that quote running through me today. I'd concluded that most of my life I was older than 'old enough to know better', that gave way to actually knowing better; now I've concluded I'm merely old enough to wish I knew better.

Older. I rapidly lost my sense of play around age 29. I now feel guilty if I spend too much time doing things that don't really acheive anything, like coming to SC. I feel guilty whenever I do something silly-fun because I keep thinking I'm not using my time wisely.

Usually, I feel younger than my age. Next week, I will be the ripe old age of 47. But, there are times when I feel old, especially when I hear myself calling stores by the names they were called 20 years ago, or saying I got a new album when I get a new CD.

Well actually, i know i'm 15. But other people don't. I went to get my driver's permit and the lady asked me 3 times, "Are you sure you're 15". Also one time i was at a store and this lady comes up to me and says, "You're a little kid and kids aren't suppossed to wear make-up!" She made me mad. She was embarrassed when i told her i was 15. LOL

I think I'm older. I'm not sure how old. Chronologically i'm 16, but I find 90% of my peers to be blundering idiots who think getting drunk is something to brag about, and a throbbing hangover is their trophy. As well as other stupidity/naivete proofs... I wouldn't say I'm all-wise, heh, hardly; I just think my mind is something of mid, maybe late twenties or so.

Thanks much. School started today and I knew I could pull off 25 but decided that was the minimum I'd go. (I went for about 32 with grandmotherly tastes.) Not bad for going on 39. People look at my size 12 1/2 feet and think they're 9's. I can also elicit a "ma'am" dressed totally as a guy. Back when i was 25 they thought I could pass for many years older.
