Repeat of 'Post your picture' idea?

I'd prefer to see an SC users' profiles page. Bill has already said that he's considering this, maybe he'll be able to implement it once he's back online.

It's always fun to see pictures, but once several are posted in one survey it really starts to bog down and load slowly. That gets to be a pain. Maybe there should be a few different surveys where pictures can be posted, broken down alphabetically by user names.

Didn't someone make a page for this purpose some time ago? Are you still willing to host it? I think the huge files that posting pictures makes is awkward, but a place where people can post them outside of a survey could be fun.

I think we should have a user profile that includes pictures and other junk...kinda like at the TZ's

It's a good idea. But probably no one here will ever see my photo, unless some Microsoft angel drops from the sky and blesses me with an ability to understand how to work a scanner. It's still in it's durned box. I HATE computers.

Perhaps not that often, but once a year would be good I don't think I'd be allowed to post my picture on the net - my mum thinks someone will see it and I'll get a mad and deranged stalker (mothers *sigh*). Perhaps a survey where you draw and post a picture of yourself.........hey that would be cool!

I can understand your mother's concern. I doubt if you'd pick up a stalker from SC, but I can understand her feeling that you're better safe than sorry.

If only I knew how to post pictures and stuff like that. My friend has a webcam, and I can e-mail pictures to whoever wants them, and soon I'll be able to do videos too. But I don't know how to post them or give links or anything.

SC might be the most likely place to pick up a stalker! Look at all the weird 'uns! lol

The problem I found with the site that was made for this was that I forgot how to get there (assuming it's still there/The above links didn't work for me) and even if I did get there, no new users would even have the opportunity to know it's there in the first place. I was just thinking it would be a cool idea to have a link up in the top(and now bottom) menu for 'SC user profiles', which is just a list of all the users that have contributed their information/pictures/social security numbers/bank account numbers including PINs, and use that rather than a site that falls further and further in our memories, with no prompt for new users.

I think posting pictures is a good idea - I was very, VERY surprised after seeing a recently posted picture....

I have been a member of SC for almost a year, and this is the first time I have seen or heard of the users page. Great site!

Having a user link on SC isn't a bad idea. But repeatedly making surveys for that purpose just gets a little tedious.

AOL has a chat program called instant messenger. Some group called activebuddy made a neat little thing named Googlyminotaur that acts like a person (sort of.) Googlyminotaur answers all sorts of questions about Radiohead, including tour dates.
