| mandy | posted 22-Jul-2001 3:39pm I have not seen any of these but I have wanted to see "I Spit on your Grave" for the longest time. I have been unable to find it for rent. |
| jkiehart | posted 22-Jul-2001 3:52pm "The Evil Dead," which certainly is NOT one of the worst films ever made, it's the BEST film ever made. I LOVE it! |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 22-Jul-2001 3:56pm Of the ones I've seen, Nail Gun Massacre is pretty bad, but not as bad as Toolbox Murders or Bloodsong which are FAR worse!! |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to jkiehart) posted 22-Jul-2001 4:01pm But Evil Dead 2 & 3 (Army of Darkness) are even better. I agree that Evil Dead should not have been on the list. |
| Frostbrand | posted 22-Jul-2001 4:42pm I liked Evil Dead, although the sequels were alot funnier. |
| cB | posted 22-Jul-2001 4:43pm I have seen one of the worst movies out there. The movie is called "BAD CHANNELS"! If you are looking for a good movie to make fun of, here's the one! |
| juliw | posted 22-Jul-2001 4:57pm None of these, but I saw Plan 9 from Outer Space. It was so bad that it was actually funny. The flying saucers were paper plates with string attached. You could see the strings moving the whole time. |
| phi | posted 22-Jul-2001 5:21pm I'd complain about this list being out of date, but in fact the movies I'm surprised not to see on the list (Plan 9 from Outer Space, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Dark Star) all came out before 1990. As did such plums as Iceman and Zardoz which I wouldn't expect to have universal, er, acclaim as bad movies. |
| jkiehart | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 22-Jul-2001 5:34pm They're good, but they're not the original! Army of Darkness was funny! What was that he called his gun? His "boom stick"? And when he has to leave and recite that chant and he wasn't listening and he messed it all up, oh that was a riot. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to jkiehart) posted 22-Jul-2001 5:40pm Klaatu, barata, necktie! Actually Evil Dead 2 was a semi-remake of Evil Dead, which Sam Raimi made when he was a student. Bruce Campbell was a buddy of his, that's why he is in all the movies. Do you know who played the evil Granny creature (the one in the basement) under the trapdoor in Evil Dead? |
| confetti | posted 22-Jul-2001 7:13pm They're all made up. How could I have seen them? |
| Frostbrand | (reply to confetti) posted 22-Jul-2001 7:26pm They are not made up pheebs. |
| juliw | (reply to phi) posted 22-Jul-2001 7:32pm I forgot Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! I can still remember the tune, but that's about it. |
| Maarten | posted 22-Jul-2001 8:00pm Like I said in qualification: Why use an 11-year-old list?? |
| confetti | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 22-Jul-2001 8:54pm <--is unconvinced. But, I mean, if Hollywood will pimp out overrated crap like Tomb Raider, they must be able to make movies like those. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to confetti) posted 22-Jul-2001 9:09pm Silly girl. All you have to do is search a site like imdb.com for these. |
| HareKrishna | posted 23-Jul-2001 12:22am Any movie with Ronald Regan in it. |
| kaleb777 | posted 23-Jul-2001 6:23am All the Evil Dead films. They rock man! |
| jettles | posted 23-Jul-2001 7:08am 1990 list???? what about the last 12 years, surely there were some BIG clunkers over that time??? |
| cpierson | posted 23-Jul-2001 9:45am The Evil Dead is on this list? Idiots. |
| Brian | posted 23-Jul-2001 10:13am You actually suffered through all these? Who are you Ebert or Siskel? |
| Jemmy | posted 23-Jul-2001 10:20am I have not seen them or heard of them. |
| jkiehart | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 23-Jul-2001 4:10pm Was it your mom? That's the first thing that popped into my head, "Kate's mom." That's cool your mom was in E.D. I tried to get my mom to audition, but she said she was retiring. I'm making all this up, you know. |
| juliw | (reply to HareKrishna) posted 23-Jul-2001 5:59pm That movie about Knute Rockne, where Ronald Reagan played the Gipper was quite good. Bedtime for Bonzo was awful, though. |
| HareKrishna | (reply to juliw) posted 23-Jul-2001 11:36pm OIC. Hare Krishna! |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to jkiehart) posted 24-Jul-2001 12:43am Nope, my mom sadly wasn't in that movie. Actually it was Ted Raimi (Sam Raimi's brother who also played Joxer on Xena). My grandmother could be mean and evil, but not quite to the extent of the creature in movie! |
| Cleo | posted 24-Jul-2001 2:03am Haven't seen any of these movies. |
| Miaow | posted 24-Jul-2001 10:01am Evil Dead rules!!!!!! |
| jzp | posted 24-Jul-2001 7:34pm feh. gymkata, evil dead, spit on your grave, and astro zombies all pale in comparison to hard rock zombies, manos hands of fate, and a plethora of MST3K'd films. |
| mary | posted 24-Jul-2001 11:55pm I am so in love. |
| spidertea | posted 26-Jul-2001 2:03am The Evil Dead was cool! |
| Oscar | posted 26-Jul-2001 3:02pm Fargo |
| JakeD | posted 28-Jul-2001 3:43am Laserblast (**1/2 stars from Leonard Maltin!!), Invasion of the Neptune Men, Manos: The Hands of Fate, Hobgoblins (ecch!), the list goes on and on... |
| Frostbrand | posted 28-Jul-2001 7:33pm I just want to go on record as saying that I too liked The Evil Dead, and just becuase I posted this list doesn't neccesarily mean I agree with it (although Gymkata does suck major portions of ass). |
| NANNERMUFFlN | posted 7-Aug-2001 11:42pm Haven't seen any of the films on the list. I guess that means 'Titanic' wasn't really as bad as I thought it was. I was shocked to see that 'Blood and Donuts' didn't make the cut. All my friends hated it and I rather enjoyed it. |
| dora | posted 15-Aug-2001 1:34pm Man,those films have wonderful titles!! I especially like---no I can't pick just one... |
| Reaper666 | posted 14-Jul-2009 4:35pm The Evil Dead I found was really cool so I don't know why it is on your list. Why is it on the list can anyone tell me? |
