Do you look your age?

If I shave I look younger than I am. If I've got about a weeks worth of stubble I look older. Sometimes I wear clothes that might be considered too young for my age, so I tend to look younger then.

I look younger than I am. When I was in my 20's, I looked like a teenager. Sometimes when I went out, people would act patronizing, like I should be in school, like I shouldn't be out so late, that sort of thing. When I worked in the mall, I got there a while before my shift was to start because I rode the bus. I was treated like some loiterer that had nothing better to do than sit around. So... I know how teenagers feel, but I still think it's more frustrating to be an adult who's treated like a teenager.

I think I look my age, 34.
Many people tell me I look a lot younger than that or that I don't look old enough to have an 11 year old daughter.
I think they're just being nice.

I generally look older than I am. Somebody told me that I have a real thoughtful face that generally you don't see in adolescents. At twelve I could get into N-17 movies.

I'm 39. People often say I look early or mid 30s. When I was in my late twenties, I would often be mistaken for a teenager.

*shrugs* I am told I can look older, if I am dressed in my regular clothes, but I look younger if I am dressed sort of sloppily, just around the house. The people I am with can make people assume I am older or younger, but I look the same. I honestly don't feel I look older then 15 though. (my age)

I look about 14 without make-up and 16 with make-up on.I'm 22:)

I don't get carded anymore, so certainly I don't look younger.

I look way younger than my age. I never go in the sun and I religiously use skin-care products to keep my skin nice. I'm 28 and I constantly get carded for cigarettes.

I have friends younger than me who are getting wrinkles already. They're sun worshippers. Make fun of me for being so pale that I'm nearly translucent, but no one's ever going to think I'm older than I really am.
And I'll save all that money on acid peels and face lifts.

i think people are surprised most times and they think i am younger, but that may be related to the fact that i act sooooo immature most of the time.

I honestly have no clue. It used to be that whatever age the group of people I was in, each person seemed to think I was "about their age." I pretty curious about it, actually.

I think I look about my age. Maybe older because of my white hair, I don't know. Fortunately, I don't really care either!

People are often surprised that I'm not younger. Back when i was a guy they were surprised that I wasn't older. I had gray hair coming in which i later wished away. People read body attitude, and attitude can even affect your physical aging.

Buddhism and reflecting their language and mannerisms will do that.

Not too many people have guessed my age. They always guess younger.

Of people who have recently guessed my age, most have guessed about five years too old.

I have been mistaken for much older and much younger.

I think I look about my age but I have been carded for beer just recently. Drinking age is 21 and I am 26 almost 27. but I have also been mistaken for much older. Many years ago I went to the barber shop with my boyfriend at the time and the hairstylist thought I was his mother. I was very offended. I was like 19 years old at the time and my boyfriend was the same age as me.

Don't know why, but everywhere I go people think that I am at least 25 >>> I'm 18.... it doesn't become a burden too much, until I keep hearing that people wont even talk to me because they think that I am too old to talk to.... or when OLD guys try to approach me and ask for my #... it grosses me out every time

i almost got kicked out of school on the last day this year because one of the "officials" thought me and my friend adam were from the elementary school!!

I look about my age. I'm 17 but like most girls my age could be anything from 14 to 20. I could make myself look even older I suppose, but I've never tried.

if people say I look at least 25 now.... I'd prefer not to hear how old I look when I AM 25....

I usually get marked up a couple of years but not anything too drastic. my 22 year old friend got accused of being 30 today... She could have cried... Silly stuff

I look about 5 years younger than my age. Mainly because I have little grey hair compared to my contemporaries...as yet.

I grow my hair, I look younger and start getting carded again. I cut it off, nobody bothers to card me anymore. hmm, do i wish for youth or simplicity...

generally i look younger than i am, im 20 and i look about 16, but if i am going out clubbing or to the pub i look my age, presumably it is 2 do with the make-up and clothes that i am wearing

if i am dressed up or just nicely dressed, ppl usually think i'm older. however if i'm in my sh*t clothes i think i look my age

I do not know that I feel that i usually look younger than I am, I just know that upon telling someone my age people almost always say that i look younger, many refuse to even believe me, some put me 5-10 years younger, and i am so sad to know that will eventually end. :)

I'm only 23, but I am often mistaken for someone younger. I think it has to do with my personality. I'm pretty carefree and not too concerned with appearing sophisticated or worldly. I like seeming younger. Being jaded and cynical are probably the major "agers" in this society. I don't think its so cool to be that way. Its better to act young at heart (thereby appearing younger) even when experienced in the ways of the world.

Sure enough. I lost my gray hair solely by going from jaded and cynical to young at heart, wide eyed, and taking delight in life.

for the most part if i am dressed up a little then people are very shocked by my age

for xample. i was at a party and talking to this guy about school and when i said i was a sophmore he asked me what collage i went to. im in high school. he wouldent belive me that i was that young for like ten min. and then i had my friend vouch for my youth.

I'm 18, but no one believes me. I look younger than my 14 year old sister! It's depressing. Of course, I'm sure I'll appreciate it when I get older.

I agree with you about the skin thing. I'm a user of skin care products religiously. I don't sun bath, and I wear sun glasses and use moisturizer. I'm 18 now so you can't really tell a difference, but I've been doing this since I was 15! So maybe when I get older I'll look younger than my sun-worshipping friends who mock me for my paleness!
