| justjulie | posted 14-Jul-2001 11:45am LOVE it! |
| vader | posted 14-Jul-2001 12:04pm Well, yes. But it has to be really plain, if it has any kind of flavor I don't like it. |
| Maarten | posted 14-Jul-2001 12:35pm Nothing is more refreshing than H²O. |
| mandy | posted 14-Jul-2001 2:25pm I prefer wine. |
| confetti | posted 14-Jul-2001 4:53pm Not unless I'm dying of thirst. If I twist half a lemon into it, it usually tastes ten times better. |
| Pomeranian | posted 14-Jul-2001 6:03pm I have nothing against tap water. |
| romkey | posted 14-Jul-2001 6:38pm I've got a phobia of tap water. I do like the taste of the tap (well) water at my home in New Hampshire. That is filtered. I also tend to like bottled water. |
| Oscar | posted 14-Jul-2001 6:39pm bottled or filtered are good. I like the taste. |
| jkiehart | posted 14-Jul-2001 6:51pm Yes! New York City tap water is rated among the best in the country. We get it from a resevoir upstate. It's delicious. |
| juliw | posted 14-Jul-2001 7:55pm No, but it tastes slightly better with a slice of lemon in it |
| jettles | posted 15-Jul-2001 8:00am yes, cold and any way(tap, bottle, filtered) |
| Wicksy | posted 15-Jul-2001 3:59pm yummy!!!!!!! |
| Cleo | posted 15-Jul-2001 7:16pm The only water that I have ever been able to drink out of the tap,is the water from Hawaii,It's artesian well water. It the best..I can't stand water from anywhere else,so I buy bottle water, but have filtered water from the fridge. |
| SueBee | posted 15-Jul-2001 9:35pm Yes, I'm drinking some right now. I like our tap water, but it needs to be chilled. I drink bottled water sometimes, too. |
| natsim | posted 15-Jul-2001 11:45pm Melbourne water is really nice. Has anyone else ever noticed that the water from the bathroom tap tastes better than the water from the kitchen tap? |
| Miaow | posted 16-Jul-2001 10:58am Yes, straight out the tap - but better filtered and with ice. Bottled is okay - rather costly though. And boiled water is nice if my tummy hurts. |
| Miaow | (reply to natsim) posted 16-Jul-2001 1:25pm Oh! Do you live in Melbourne? I love Melbourne!!!! I have noticed also that kitchen tap isn't as nice as bathroom. Cat also prefers bathroom - it comes out colder. Actually cat prefers to drink from toilet bowl...I haven't tried that! |
| nudeinthewoods | posted 16-Jul-2001 10:27pm Back home we have a well, so basically the water that comes out of the tap is spring water, but where I live now the public water has way too much chlorine in it. I run it through my britta filter and it tastes much better |
| natsim | (reply to Miaow) posted 16-Jul-2001 10:29pm I'm glad you haven't tried it.... but it must be dangerous for the cat, no? |
| Miaow | (reply to natsim) posted 17-Jul-2001 8:39am I guess not, it never seems to hurt him. And he's much too big to fall in. I have seen him get his head stuck in a yogurt pot though, that was really funny - he thinks that if he walks backwards really really fast, it will come off! I was laughing too much to help him. Still didn't teach him to stay out the garbage. |
| BlueberryMuffin | posted 17-Jul-2001 6:40pm It depends on the water. Some areas have wonderful tasting tap water, in others it is unpleasant. Some bottled water is fantastic, others aren't worth the money. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 24-Jul-2001 12:08pm In Springfield (where I live)-it's fine. In Eugene-way too much chlorine taste. Thank God we have bottled McKenzie Mist water in the cooler at work. One of our few perks. |
| Brian | posted 30-Jul-2001 12:11pm W.C Fields once said: "I don't drink water. Fish f*** in it." |
| iworshipblink | posted 4-Aug-2001 8:36pm water is the best drink ever...i LOVE water |
| Kandor66 | posted 5-Aug-2001 7:37am Never tasted pure water, in England where I live its usually laced with Fluoride, Eskimo pee and camel droppings! bugger! |
| Biggles | (reply to Kandor66) posted 5-Aug-2001 12:48pm There's none of that where I live! Not even fluoride (yet). I love tap water |
| Miaow | (reply to Biggles) posted 8-Aug-2001 5:17pm The water in Sheffield was always pretty yummy compared to other parts of the country. Actually, thinking of Sheffield, I WAS going to pop back for a week in September for a couple of parties, but I can't get a flight for less than a thousand bucks. Toilet! We could have met up and everything. |
| Biggles | (reply to Miaow) posted 8-Aug-2001 5:23pm |
