Which of those 'special' numbers do you consider special?

Some numbers are considered more 'special' than the others, either because of their religious meaning, mathematical coefficiency, because ancient tribes gave them magical meanings, etc. Which of those numbers have some special meaning for you?

I don't consider any number special. I have favourite numbers (3 and 9) but I don't *really* think that they're any more special than ordinary numbers.

i really don't consider any number special! i used to, as a joke, page people i worked with to "666" and i became known for that at work. when i finally bought a computer and got onto the internet, my screen name had a 666 in it. i was kicked out of more chat rooms and people wouldn't talk to me on boards etc........ it was interesting.

Zero, because division by zero is undefined. 111, because it means seven in binary code, and 666, because it is the mark of the beast.

It's fun to joke about 23 and such but pi and e are two of the few numbers I'd truly consider 'special' as they reflect something of the actual structure of mathematics and geometry.

There are at least 2 more in the Hitchhiker's series:
Life, the Universe and Everything
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish
also, maybe Mostly Harmless (though, I don't think I've read it)
Also, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency was good, and it's sequal: The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul
Most of these are quick reads.
