I don't like telling people some times because, they might be making way less than me & it would hurt their feelings. Then again I don't like saying it to the people who make more than me because I would feel worthless.I dont ask people how much they make, they usually tell me in conversation without asking.

There is actually a scheme in my city right now where you can get paid for going to sixth form (the type of school where I am now) but I don't get anything because it's means tested and my dad earns more than the upper limit (which isn't very high!)

It varies depending on how many hours I work. I usually work 4 days a week. Mon-Thur. 2 of those are 8 and a half hour days and 2 of those are 5 and a half hour days.

I averaged it out since January.

Average hours worked in a two week pay period: 56
Average hourly wage: $8.30

$465 every two weeks before taxes
$370 every two weeks after taxes

That's $740 a month plus $300 child support

Funny thing is I was once even offered $80-100k as a systems analyst back in 1996 but chose to travel instead.
This morning I applied as a research asst. at the Getty. It's only part time and pays $12/hr. My neighbor read my cover & résumé and said that they probably won't hire me because I'm way over qualified.I've designed the sort of systems (2 art history slide library databases) they want me to use.

I used to work as a computer programmer. Started at $35k/year 10 years ago out of college. When I quit 1.5 years ago, I was making $87K/year. Though, they gave me a ton of stock options too, so if I counted those as income (as the IRS does) it was a lot more.
Now, I go around begging people to give me $20 to subscribe to these web sites, and I'm largely unsuccessful at it though I make a little off ads as well. I think my net income from running these sites last year was around $10K. This year, I hope to do more like $20K, but we'll see.
Life is strange.

Frustrating in the sense you address so many subjects, I could not keep up.

I love your photography! The interplay of texture and color is incredible. I am impressed with what you "saw" within each subject to draw out a multi-dimensional presentation.

I am now convinced you do "see" many levels at once. My compliments. Wish I could do that with a camera.

I haven't even posted my major spiritual photography (ghosts and apparitions). I had someone surprise by commenting something like that before. They pointed out that things like the valleys rivers of sunlight and clouds as seen from above is the sort of thing the average person doesn't even see when they look out an airplane window. I can give you a couple hints. It's often conjuring. You can't react in time to catch a puppy leap in the air and go gonzo faced. You have to decide beforehand what the puppy will be doing at the moment you're going to take the picture. Also, shoot as slow as possible, at the minimum you will capture more saturated color than a quick wide burst, though spiritually there's more to it than that. Much of my photography is hand held at 1/15th sec. I'm considering taking a photo class this semester to have an excuse to carry my cameras. My painting has even more layers. Years later i looked back on my old paintings and realized I'd been blind to what I'd painted, for instance not just smoke rising from a lightening cracked geode, but a perfect adam and eve at the gates rising from the smoke. One of these months I'll get around to posting this stuff.

You're living at my pace. I still manage to eat at nice restaurants once a month, fly to Alaska once in a while, eat organic, do all sorts of arts and hobbies, send lots of presents to my kids, have a full liquor cabinet, record and viewmaster collections, and have a really nice place furnished gradually from thrift store blessings. What I don't have is a car. I have a top notch bicycle instead. That would take more income to arrange. The skills learned from thriving at this income are quite handy.
