No, I have been in the Amsterdam one, which has 'only' 650 terminals.

I know, but the NYC one has 760. That's why I wrote 'only'.

Oh I wouldn't go there just because I don't like crowds. I like small intimate groups of people better than large groups.

No. I have a computer at home.

I am right there with you. I can't STAND going to clubs and large concerts. I hate being just one more person in a group of hundreds or thousands. And people turn into jerks in large crowds.

My only exception is baseball games. I LOVE going to baseball games. I live very close to Shea - GO METS!, and I'm just a train ride away from Yankee Stadium. I went to three games alone two weeks ago. Baseball bliss.

I might go to ball games if our team didn't suck * smile *

Why the Mets and not the Yankees?
jkiehart
(reply to ASB) posted 6-Jun-2001 1:27pm
Hey, the Mets are a mockery this year, which is even sadder considering we were the National League Champions just last year.

The Yankees are... they're.... They always win! See, the thing about baseball is, is that there is no "industry standard" as to how much a team can earn or spend, as there is for the other sports. The Yankees have the most money to spend over all the other teams. They have an unfair advantage and they flaunt it wildly.

I also wouldn't go because why should I pay to surf the web when I have a computer at home.

Hmmm, parochial means "narrow-minded" something I'd be more likely to apply to an anonymous commenter than HK!
