Well, I usually read until I'm falling asleep, so then it only takes me about a minute to actually get to sleep after I turn out the light. But I usually read for 15-30 minutes or so, so that's what I picked.

About 30 seconds, if I laid down right now, mid day at work it would probably take me 30 seconds as well.

It varies. If I'm coming home late night from somewhere, than zero because I just lay on the bad and fall asleep.

I used to toss and turn for at least a couple hours every night before falling asleep, but I'm happy to say that over the past few years I've had less and less trouble. I think it's mainly because I have fewer worries in my life than I used to, and it helped even more when I kicked the caffeine habit. Nowadays I usually fall asleep within 5 minutes of turning off the light.

You sound very proud. I feel the same about my kids. I was married for 14 years but my ex turned into a crazy physco dog. I have a girl who is 14 (going on 21) and a 10 year old boy. ASB and I do plan on having at least 1 child. This one will take some planning and money to get done. There must be 2 Brians on here. I thought you were only 21.

I do have a sleeping disorder. I will sleep for about 45 minutes & wake up for 2 hours if I am not on medication. Just now I am on medication because I hate the way it makes me feel. Maybe someday they will come up with a medication that does not make you feel you are in a twilight zone. I have had this problem most of my adult life.

It varies greatly. Like last night, I didn't sleep a wink because I went NUTS with the coffee and soda.

Caffene is like crack to me. I even get the "highs" and "lows." I just laid in bed, tossing and turning, feeling like a loser piece of crap. Then, of course, as soon as I fell asleep at 9:30 in the morning, the bell rings and it's FedEx. I decided to make some coffee and get on the computer...

It's vicious cycle.

If I've worked out that day, about three seconds. I'm one of those people who push their bodies so much that they go at it until they literally can't stand up. On the other hand, when I haven't, it takes me hours. Sometimes I get up, turn on the light, look at myself in the mirror and sing Radiohead songs. Oh, me.
