| Iseult | posted 22-May-2001 3:19pm Yes! I love rain. Thing I don't like about the climate in Onatario is that there's not enough rain, and it can be really harsh. |
| Jemmy | posted 22-May-2001 4:54pm Not usually. |
| Maarten | posted 22-May-2001 4:55pm No, not really. |
| drdt | posted 22-May-2001 5:11pm As long as I don't have to drive. |
| Enheduanna | posted 22-May-2001 5:21pm Yes. I'm enjoying a rainy day right now, in fact. I didn't like going grocery shopping in the rain, but I'm enjoying studying in my cozy living room while it rains. |
| Frostbrand | posted 22-May-2001 5:52pm I find them soothing. |
| juliw | posted 22-May-2001 6:07pm I don't like having to walk or wait for the bus in the rain, but realize that sometimes if it has really been dry for a while, we need to have some rain. I love being all comfortable in my bed when there is a heavy rain storm outside. |
| juliw | posted 22-May-2001 6:09pm I also have curly hair that tends to get frizzy if it is really humid out. |
| callen610 | posted 22-May-2001 8:13pm I LOVE thunderstorms with lots of lightning and thunder. However, I don't like long, gloomy days when the rain never ends. |
| Oscar | posted 22-May-2001 9:52pm definitely there's not too much on earth that compares. |
| confetti | posted 22-May-2001 9:52pm When I don't have to go out on a rainy day, I like it. |

| darkshadowsseeker | posted 23-May-2001 2:28am But living in Oregon doesn't give you much of a choice. I understand Seattle gets even more rain that we do. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to mandy) posted 23-May-2001 2:29am Yeah, you get more rain than the Willamette Valley where I'm at! |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to mandy) posted 23-May-2001 2:32am Yeah, you get more rain than the Willamette Valley where I'm at! Not to change the subject, but did you hear Mark Fuhrman wrote a book about Robert Yates, the Spokane serial killer? I understand he thinks the cops could have caught Yates sooner if they had used more old-fashioned police footwork and relied less on computers and the like. |
| BlueberryMuffin | posted 23-May-2001 2:44am I love rainy days. |
| Enheduanna | (reply to HareKrishna) posted 23-May-2001 9:49am Right now I'm reading about the First Book of Samuel, from the Bible. It's for my Bible comprehensive exam (a really big exam on the Old Testament, for the Ph.D. program I'm in). |
| mandy | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 23-May-2001 3:09pm Really? I didn't know that. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to mandy) posted 23-May-2001 3:28pm What? The facts about the rain or the book by Mark Fuhrman? |
| mandy | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 23-May-2001 3:30pm Fuhrman |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to mandy) posted 23-May-2001 3:44pm The one about Robert Yates is called, "Murder in Spokane: Catching A Serial Killer." This is Fuhrman's second book. He also wrote one about the killing of Martha Moxley, whose murder is being blamed on a member of the Kennedy family. |
| HareKrishna | (reply to Enheduanna) posted 23-May-2001 5:04pm OIC. when you graduate you will be Dr Enheduanna! |

| smurf | posted 27-May-2001 12:29am Sometimes. If I'm having a stay-at-home day, I really enjoy a bit of rain 'cos I find the noise kinda soothing. And when I'm at work I enjoy the rain, as not many people tend to go shopping on rainy days, so we get a quiet day |

| SueBee | (reply to ASB) posted 6-Jun-2001 11:37pm But how can that be? It's been raining here, too. I guess this is a classic example of why we should be careful what we wish for! I hope your rain stops soon! |
