| daver | posted 3-Aug-1998 11:37am I wonder if there's a correlation between this and handedness? Left thumb, right handed. |
| jer | posted 3-Aug-1998 11:56am nope... 'cuz I'm left-thumb, and left-handed |
| Jody | posted 3-Aug-1998 11:58am right thumb....right-handed |
| lisashea | posted 3-Aug-1998 11:59am Hey, who stole my "missing hands" line? :) Left thumb, right handed. |
| seven | posted 3-Aug-1998 12:10pm I'm all thumbs. |
| milktree | posted 3-Aug-1998 12:27pm left thumb, right handed. *** reality, that's a good answer! Bravo! |
| bpersei | posted 3-Aug-1998 12:57pm It feels wrong whenever I try it. When I clasp my hands with either thumb on top it feels bad, less so with my left on top. What I usually do is have my finger-tips touch and the heels of my hands touch-sort of like I'm praying.. |
| ron2112 | posted 3-Aug-1998 1:28pm But I was hanging upside down when I did it... |
| lizzie | posted 3-Aug-1998 2:33pm I did it without thinking, and the left thumb is on top. When I switch and put my right thumb on top, it doesn't feel right. I am right handed. |
| Resy | posted 3-Aug-1998 3:20pm ...and this indicates, what? |
| gilly | posted 3-Aug-1998 4:37pm Right thumb, left handed. But when I try it with my feet, my left toe is on top. |
| emily | posted 3-Aug-1998 5:26pm My right thumb was on top. (They say that's a sign of genius) |
| bill | posted 3-Aug-1998 7:39pm I am a man, a man with four fingers... but that's doesn't count my thumb. |
| kirst | posted 4-Aug-1998 8:50am I'm left-handed--left thumb is on top. |
| Atzilut | posted 4-Aug-1998 4:17pm bill: there is absolutely no other possibility you're missing the point. it's a song lyric. sorry. I was being insular and clever with Bill |
| Juliet | posted 4-Aug-1998 6:45pm Why ask this? |
| reality | posted 5-Aug-1998 10:02am I can't answer because my thumbs are steepled(the prints are touching), neither is over the other. **as a followup, daver wandered by and asked me to demonstrate.. if it matters, the index finger of my left hand ends up as the topmost finger, but the thumbs are still steepled.. *** I am missing the point |
| jjg | posted 5-Aug-1998 9:51pm My right, and coincidentaly I am right handed. |
| debian | posted 5-Aug-1998 11:37pm When practicing yoga poses that require clasped hands, it is important to switch the clasping, so as not to habitually favor just one way. |
| Mark | posted 6-Aug-1998 4:05pm Left, and I'm left-handed (which of course, means I am somewhat ambidextrous in this right-dominated world!) |
| RatQueen | posted 8-Aug-1998 10:37pm This shows the right-left brain coordination and ratio right? |
| Grneyz02 | posted 10-Aug-1998 1:59am Doesn't this mean something....? |
| Artemis | posted 12-Aug-1998 2:06pm Left, I'm right handed. What's the point of this? |
| elijahblue | posted 19-Aug-1998 2:21am okay...right. Which means... |
| nbarone | posted 31-Aug-1998 11:54pm i'm left thumbed, and right handed....should there be a correlation? ***ok, apparantly little if any correlation. as of 8/31/98, 5 users have same thumbness and handedness, 7 have opposite. |
| Jaime | posted 5-Oct-1998 6:24am Well, you done it: I'm waiting for the explanation! |
