One of my best friends in high school lived in a house that was haunted. There was a trunk in the attic (stored by the property owner) that moved by itself. I also saw the ghost of my grandfather twice after he had passed on. Once in our house and once at his grave.

When I was a kid, there was a house up the street that had been abandoned for years. I remember some of us went up and peeked through a basement window, and there were dead ducks on the floor. All the kids in the neighbourhood used to refer to it as the haunted house. A family moved in, and lived there for many years. They had a daughter who was about my age. She was in my class once. When she was in high school, she commited suicide. Ooooooo! * surprise *

I was on my summer vacation with my parents and siblins in Montenegro. I was in my own room while my sister and brother shared their own room. I think that my room was haunted. I used to wake up, every night at the same time by something unexplainable. And I saw some figures pacing around my room. I don't know if that was dream or what?, but I was scared.

We were staying in the old mansion (really old, about 400 years). It was built on the cliff. Hundred years ago, during a strorm, a ship from Italy chrashed on the cliff. The guy who rented the manstion told us that story when we were leaving. He told me that probably what I saw, comparing to my descriptions was a ghost of a Italian sailor. He said that he never himself saw nothing, but some people complaned. Nobody in my family saw nothing suspicious there though, only me.

Yes, there is a house (now a museum) about four blocks from mine where one of Akron's prominent families used to live. Up until about twenty years ago, descendants of the family lived there. Now, university students occupy the top floor, but the rest of the house is museum owned by the university. They have been saying for years that it was haunted, and even had some kind of professionals prove it, according to the newpaper.

You know the show sightings? The host guy?? Anyway, I lived in Georgetown, they did a show on the town (Georgetown, CO), I guess the whole place is supposed to be haunted (yeah right). The main place they focused on in that show was The Full Circle Cafe, where a few of my friends work/worked, it's supposed to be super haunted..... anyway, two of my friends were outside the screen kitchen door when they were filming, they were making all these noises like WoOoOooo Uoobuoo WooOoOo like they were evil spirits.... I think you can hear it on the video.
I met the dude from sightings, the guy with colored eye brows... what a flake.
And the movie Phantom was filmed there one year (dumb movie) lol.

I lived near a house that was rumoured to be haunted when I was a child. Then someone bought and renovated it and the rumours stopped. It was just a run down old house.

I've never seen one, but my grandpa told me a story once.
He said that one day he was sitting the couch talking to his sister, when they saw a stranger standing about 10 feet away by their. He was wearing flannel. He didn't say anything, and he didn't seem to notice them. Then he just disappeared.
I don't think my Grandpa was lying, because he wasn't the type to tell his grandchildren tall tales.

If you see a ghost chant:

HARE KRISHNA
HARE KRISHNA
KRISHNA KRISHNA
HARE HARE

HARE RAMA
HARE RAMA
RAMA RAMA
HARE HARE

& it will go away! * smile *

I lived in a place that was supposed to have a ghost in the attic. I think someone was just pulling my leg. Even if there was one, I would never acknowledge it anyway.I think dead people should stay where they belong.

How lucky can you get!!! I'd love to be in a house that old especially on a cliff!! That's something like The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Have you ever seen it? I love that movie. You lived my dream (Sigh!)

I remember that movie, it was pretty good. A couple of really good spooky movies are 'The Haunting'(the one from the 60's-not the remake) which is based on 'The Haunting of Hill House' by Shirley Jackson and a movie called 'The Haunting of Hell House' starring Roddy McDowell. Both are great movies, especially 'The Haunting'.
