| kaleb777 | posted 11-May-2001 6:57pm Yes. It's very lean and high in iron. It's delicious. |
| Zang | posted 11-May-2001 8:20pm No, I had ostrich once though. That's about as exotic as my carnivorous appetite has gotten. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 11-May-2001 9:14pm Years ago at someone else's house. It was canned and disgusting. I hope fresh kangaroo tastes better than canned. |
| spidertea | posted 11-May-2001 9:57pm I'm a vegetarian. |
| HareKrishna | (reply to spidertea) posted 12-May-2001 1:25am Me 2! |
| Hyperbolic | posted 12-May-2001 7:27am And it's disgusting. It tastes like lamb liver. Yuk |
| jettles | posted 12-May-2001 7:54am no and i will never taste it! |
| Biggles | posted 12-May-2001 10:14am No, and I never will now (I'm a vegetarian) unless I end up in a situation where it is necessary. |
| anonymous | (reply to HareKrishna) posted 12-May-2001 5:47pm Why are you a vegetarian? Why would God create humans with the forward facing eyes of a predator and teeth that fit an omnivore, ie. an animal designed to eat meat and plants. You are going against God when you deny your body the essential nutrients that meat gives. You are a blasphemer, and you are also proud because you think you're better than people who eat meat, as God intended. You are not a good person. You are saying God made a mistake by designing us the way we are. You are against God. |

| romkey | (reply to anonymous) posted 12-May-2001 11:01pm could be a test by a sadistic creator... |
| Biggles | (reply to anonymous) posted 13-May-2001 8:35am If you believe in God (which I don't) you know that he gave humans free will. We can choose our own paths. I don't eat meat because I don't feel it's necessary. I don't *have* to eat meat to survive. If ever I did, I *would* eat meat. HK (and spidertea and me) never said that we were better than people who eat meat. You just decided to come out with a whole load of crap. |
| supplicant | (reply to Iseult) posted 13-May-2001 1:00pm Nope, nothing like chicken (or liver). More like steak than anything else... but as kaleb777 said it's very lean. If you like red meat you should _love_ Kangaroo, but if you dislike red meat this is probably not going to be an exception. |
| Iseult | (reply to supplicant) posted 13-May-2001 3:16pm I think that read meat is ok, but I don't like eating it. I'm semi-vegeterian (I eat chicken and fish, and eggs, and cheese). |
| SueBee | (reply to anonymous) posted 13-May-2001 11:16pm To use your own words...YOU are not a good person. It's disgusting the way you use your religious views to promote your hatred toward others who don't believe as you do. |
| natsim | posted 14-May-2001 3:37am Yes, I eat it once or twice a week because it's the only free-range meat that my supermarket sells (and therefore the only meat I buy). And it tastes good. |
| ASB | (reply to supplicant) posted 14-May-2001 9:15am I like steak but not lean steak I like a nice marbled cut |
| Enheduanna | (reply to anonymous) posted 14-May-2001 10:23am If God created us to eat meat, then why does the Bible have a big, long list of the meat we're not supposed to eat? |
| Maarten | posted 14-May-2001 10:26am No, but I wouldn't mind trying. I like tasting new things. |
| spidertea | (reply to HareKrishna) posted 14-May-2001 1:05pm How long have you been? |
| jkiehart | (reply to anonymous) posted 14-May-2001 2:20pm You're a yellow-bellied fudge face, and God hates yellow-bellied fudge faces. |
| romkey | (reply to Enheduanna) posted 14-May-2001 5:13pm because they were really into making lists back then! |
| Enheduanna | (reply to romkey) posted 14-May-2001 5:30pm LOL It's true! I'll have to remember that one for my exam! |
| mandy | (reply to jkiehart) posted 14-May-2001 9:42pm |
| HareKrishna | (reply to spidertea) posted 14-May-2001 11:07pm Not long enough! |
| johnnyp | posted 18-May-2001 7:07pm My ship pulled into Darwin for a port visit, VERY DELICIOUS. |
| johnnyp | (reply to anonymous) posted 18-May-2001 7:14pm Lay off the vegetarian, News flash holy warrior, meat is actually bad for your longetivity, veggies give you everything and protein can be supplemented in other ways other then eating an animal. Don't forget your God also gave us a brain and the ability to think and choose. I personally love meat but whats right for me ain't right for everybody. |
| nasale | posted 20-May-2001 6:21pm You mean you actually EAT those cute creatures? I want one as a PET! I want to teach it to box and sic it after a few nasty people I know. |
| Cleo | (reply to nasale) posted 23-May-2001 11:01pm You know what I thought about what you said & agree. They are such cute animals.I want one too,but just to have. You know? Like a pet cat or dog. |
| Cleo | (reply to anonymous) posted 23-May-2001 11:37pm You don't know your Bible very well. There was a biblical person (name escapes me at the moment)who asked the king if he & a few of his followers could change their diet to EXCLUDE meat, because he felt that it would make them healthier. The king said if he & his followers did become healthy in a set amount of time he would grant it for the rest of the prisoners.Check out this bible story I think it was Paul,& he was a christian. If you are a Christians, behave like one.Everyone's a sinner in GOD's eye,& NO ONE on this earth has room to point the finger at ANYONE,least of all a practicing Baby christian.Don't quote only the parts of the bible that you see fit to preach.Views like that send the non Christians running in the opposite direction & the whole christian teaching is to love everyone.Come out from under your sheep's clothing & reveal yourself.A TRUE CHRISTIAN would not hide their love for God by hiding behind an anonymus label. |
