| Zang | posted 11-May-2001 12:37am I prefer coffee, but this (any kind, in any form) business is right out! I'm very particular about my coffee. About 14 years ago I started creating my own blend. I used to go to all of the whole bean coffee retailers in my neighbourhood. I would painstakingly try each one, and then begin blending, and adjusting. After a couple of years, Starbucks arrived. I quickly found that their coffee was vastly superior to the others. Now I had to try all their coffees and start the whole process again. After a few more years I arrived at the perfect blend. Most people who try my coffee are blown away by how good it is. Here's my "secret" blend: 3 parts French Roast and 1 part Ethiopian Sidamo. For a real treat, I use it to make cafe lattes, and add a dash of Cointreau. I like tea too, but I don't drink it every day like I do coffee. The Formosa Oolong that they sell at Murchies is the best, a bit pricey, but well worth it. |

| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to Zang) posted 11-May-2001 12:52am Zang, I'm sorry. I should have made this a little clearer. What I meant is that the option included tea/coffee in all it's incarnations, not that you liked all kinds. I should have been a little clearer. |
| Zang | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 11-May-2001 2:11am That's what I figured you meant. Like: Instant coffee, coffee ice cream...iced tea... |
| Maarten | posted 11-May-2001 2:20am Coffee: espresso. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to Zang) posted 11-May-2001 2:47am Okay. I thought from your comment that I hadn't been clear enough. |

| jkiehart | posted 11-May-2001 10:01am You know? I LIKE tea better. I think it's better tasting, there's a wide variety, but I drink far more coffee than tea. For every cup of tea I drink, I drink pots and pots of coffee. |
| Biggles | posted 11-May-2001 12:54pm I don't like either......... |
| kaleb777 | posted 11-May-2001 1:22pm Coffee. Tea is too weak. Coffee has a stronger taste. |
| drdt | posted 11-May-2001 3:06pm I don't drink coffee except when prescribed by a physician. |
| Jemmy | posted 11-May-2001 3:14pm It depends on the kind of tea and kind of coffee. |

| juliw | posted 11-May-2001 6:04pm If I want something hot to drink, I prefer tea or hot chocolate. But rarely do I want anything hot to drink. I like iced tea, and some of the frozen coffee drinks at Starbuck's. Most of the time, I prefer to drink pop. |
