| SueBee | posted 6-May-2001 12:41am I like Lisa the best because she's smart and she plays the saxophone. |
| BrightBlue | posted 6-May-2001 1:18am I don't like the Simpsons |
| mandy | posted 6-May-2001 2:39am SLH |
| juliw | posted 6-May-2001 5:55am I like Lisa and Marge's sisters |
| juliw | (reply to SueBee) posted 6-May-2001 5:58am That is why I like her best, too. She is the only smart one. |
| Matt | posted 6-May-2001 7:11am Homer |
| Maarten | posted 6-May-2001 7:50am Barney! *burp* |
| jettles | posted 6-May-2001 8:02am i really do like lisa but no one character on the show would be as good as they are without the others........ |
| jettles | (reply to Maarten) posted 6-May-2001 8:03am don't you just love how barney's lips flutter when he BURPS!!!! |
| Maarten | (reply to jettles) posted 6-May-2001 8:08am lol Yeah, I love that guy! |
| happyme | posted 6-May-2001 8:50am That show is so funny...I think my favorite character is Apu. |
| Iseult | posted 6-May-2001 9:37am Homer. |
| Lana77 | posted 6-May-2001 10:15am I don't know. I like them all. |
| SueBee | (reply to happyme) posted 6-May-2001 11:56am Is that the guy who works in the convenience store? |
| IanLovesPhoebe | posted 6-May-2001 12:43pm I hate the Simpsons. It's gross. |
| Iseult | (reply to IanLovesPhoebe) posted 6-May-2001 12:56pm Well it is; but it's great way too see our world in the caricature. |
| bcollins | posted 6-May-2001 1:34pm Selma and Patty are my favorites. I KNOW their name isn't Simpson, but they are related by marriage (sisters-in-law) and that makes them more related than the family pets. |
| spidertea | posted 6-May-2001 2:10pm Lisa! |
| Frostbrand | (reply to IanLovesPhoebe) posted 6-May-2001 5:36pm Gross? A little crude maybe, but gross is hardly thw word I would use. Freddy Got Fingered on the other hand, THAT piece of crap was VERY gross! I walked out after 15 minutes! I should've seen Bridget Jones's Diary instead, but no, I had to go amnd lose a coin toss wioth myself! (Now how pathetic is that?) |
| happyme | (reply to SueBee) posted 6-May-2001 5:56pm Yeah, the Kwikee mart(sp?) |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 6-May-2001 9:16pm Lisa is my favorite. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 6-May-2001 9:19pm Jesus Christ Brian, what did you expect? It was directed and starred Tom Green. Did you think it was going to be anything but what it was? I mean, get real, we're talking Tom Green! |
| Frostbrand | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 6-May-2001 9:44pm Well, my Dad likes Tom Green. I went because I wanted to tell him how much it would suck. And it did, but too much for me to sit there and mock the whole thing. |
| IanLovesPhoebe | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 6-May-2001 10:50pm I agree. Tom Green should bury himself six feet into the ground and stay put. And definitely go see Bridget. I'm telling you, 25 pounds less or more, she's REALLY something... |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 6-May-2001 11:48pm Did your dad get dropped on his head a lot when he was little? |
| mandy | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 7-May-2001 12:02am and others I happen to love Tom Green and believe he is a comic genius...all you naysayers need to get a sense of humor |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 7-May-2001 4:36am Ok folks. Here is the pen test I submitted to the Simsons staff.. http://www.ereiam.com/life/portfolio.htm I was going through some very dark metaphysical experiences at the time regarding soul draining, and it shows, unfortunately all the little detail gags don't show up on web page resolution. My favorite is Lisa. My kids and ex-wife have their similarities to marge and the kids, but i never resembled anyone except Lisa. |
| Biggles | posted 7-May-2001 8:41am Lisa |
| Biggles | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 7-May-2001 8:49am You *really* don't want to see Bridget Jones - it's rubbish. I can't believe her accent was praised!!! I was expecting an intelligent romantic comedy but it was just a bog-standard romance that was lacking comedy. No sparkle, no wit, just boring............ |
| stevens_gurl69 | posted 7-May-2001 12:09pm I like them all really when I get to see it because I am never home. |
| anoddoblivion | posted 7-May-2001 12:11pm Homer's just the funniest. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to IanLovesPhoebe) posted 7-May-2001 6:32pm I and only I shall be the judge of what I do and do not want to see. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Biggles) posted 7-May-2001 6:34pm That last comment was meant for you Biggles. |
| smurf | posted 7-May-2001 11:42pm Maggie. She's so cute |
| SueBee | (reply to happyme) posted 8-May-2001 1:35am He is a great character. I love the accent! |
| SueBee | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 8-May-2001 1:38am That's very impressive. |
| cadmiumred | posted 8-May-2001 5:06am lisa |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to SueBee) posted 8-May-2001 5:36am Thanks, my life ground to a halt while I worked on it unfortunately. |
| Biggles | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 8-May-2001 1:45pm Fine........... I didn't expect quite that sort of response when I was just stating an opinion! I really hope I just took what you said in the wrong way after a long day............... |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Biggles) posted 8-May-2001 4:21pm I and only I shall be the judge of what I do and do not want to see. How can that be taken in any way other then the intended? |
| Biggles | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 8-May-2001 4:30pm So I *was* right to take offence? |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Biggles) posted 8-May-2001 4:49pm No! Wha-whe-wh-what is up with your mind dude? I was responded to your comment that I shouldn't see Bridget Jones's Diary. I was telling that the choice of which movie I see was not yours. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 9-May-2001 5:54am Brian, Biggles was just offering an opinion. Are you suggesting that you are beyond making informed (even if it is just opinion) decisions, or are you saying that you can't distinguish between popular colorful concerned language, and literal acostments to your freedom of choice? |
| Katrina | posted 9-May-2001 7:27am She's a thinker with spunk ... an outsider and a caring individual. Not someone who fits into the Simpson's way of life. She has to fight for everything in order to be true to herself. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Katrina) posted 9-May-2001 8:15am Who? Selma? or Possibly Snowball II? |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 9-May-2001 2:35pm I can but he seemed to be taking it as an insult. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 9-May-2001 5:25pm "Hey, my buddy, ya want a soda"? "How dare you presume to know what I want". I'd be hurt by that sort of response too. ..something done in kindness taken as an attack. It remains unclear whethar you were playing off his words in jest or took them seriously. |
| SueBee | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 10-May-2001 12:38am I'm pretty sure Biggles is a female. And she's sweet, so you should be nice to her. |
| Biggles | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 10-May-2001 3:52pm Okay, I guess I got the wrong end of the stick. Friends? |
| Biggles | (reply to SueBee) posted 10-May-2001 3:53pm But only pretty sure?! Thankyou |
| Biggles | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 10-May-2001 3:54pm |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Biggles) posted 10-May-2001 4:56pm Sure. |
| SueBee | (reply to Biggles) posted 11-May-2001 12:21pm Well, sometimes my memory's not so good, and I thought I better not be too confident in case I was wrong! |
| Biggles | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 11-May-2001 12:54pm |
| heyzeus1 | posted 12-May-2001 1:29am Homer! he's dumb but cool. |

| Maarten | (reply to Aquarigirl78) posted 17-May-2001 2:50pm You have spiky yellow hair too? |
| MrMan | posted 17-May-2001 5:33pm Homer is the central character, the Simpsons is about his experience and the others are support characters. |
| nasale | posted 19-May-2001 4:39pm Homer reminds me SOOO much of my EX.Every time I see him I think to myself how lucky I am to be shed of him! Actually, I'm not being fair to Homer. He's much cuter and smarter. |
| SueBee | (reply to nasale) posted 19-May-2001 5:18pm LOL |
| nasale | (reply to SueBee) posted 20-May-2001 11:47am (Bow, sweep,to thundering applause) Tankyou, tankyou! |
| Miaow | posted 21-May-2001 8:16pm I wish I had been more like Bart when I was a kid! |
| nasale | (reply to Miaow) posted 21-May-2001 10:42pm It's NEVER too late! |
| Miaow | (reply to nasale) posted 22-May-2001 3:56pm But it may get me FIRED now....! |
| nasale | (reply to Miaow) posted 22-May-2001 5:18pm Okay, you have a point. I know! You can be Bart when you are alone in the bathtub/shower! For that period of time you can 'embody' everything Bart stands for (and pray that nobody is standing outside the bathroom door listening or they'll throw you in the booby hatch!) |
| Miaow | (reply to nasale) posted 22-May-2001 9:49pm But being Bart at work would be WAY more fun.... |
| narsindal | posted 24-May-2001 12:12am Homer's my favourite Simpson. The best voice overall is the Charles Bronson one. It's never the same character but that voice gets me laughing right away :) |
| Cleo | posted 24-May-2001 8:04pm I don't watch it enough to have a favorite. |
| DChilvere | posted 26-May-2001 11:52pm How can anyone not be familiar with the Simpsons? |
| Sweetie | posted 28-May-2001 1:29am I don't watch it all that much, but my family is a huge fan. And they all say what character they are. I think its stupid |
| NikkiChicken | posted 28-May-2001 2:09am Ralph Wiggum is classic. |
| Brian | posted 29-May-2001 7:41pm Bart - he reminds me of me when I was young. Worse yet, he reminds me of my all-too-sophisticated ten year old. Man, do they grow up fast! |
| angel5489 | posted 8-Jun-2001 12:14pm Bart is so funny! EAT MY SHORTS! |
| angel5489 | (reply to Brian) posted 8-Jun-2001 12:16pm I know what you mean. I don't have any kids of my own, because I am only fifteen, but there are always my cousins. It seems like only yesterday that my three year old cousin was born, and she is already wearing high heeled shoes and flashing people. She doesn't have anything to flash! |
| Brian | (reply to angel5489) posted 8-Jun-2001 12:33pm lol |
| vader | posted 8-Jul-2001 2:32pm I HATE THE SIMPSONS!!! |
