| jjg | posted 29-Jul-1998 12:30pm Very much so. |
| doom | posted 29-Jul-1998 12:30pm Not really. Only my feet. This drives Q crazy since he can almost be tickled from across the room. |
| reality | posted 29-Jul-1998 1:13pm yet another pointless survey by me to satisfy idle curiosity. **I will also state that far too many people know where I fall in the range provided so I'm not telling.. neener ***Lisashea I agree completely |
| bill | posted 29-Jul-1998 1:27pm I was tickled to death by my older brother when I was younger, I'll never get over that - the feelings of being trapped, forced to giggle a form of rape if you ask me. I've been a very serious fellow ever since. There should be laws, I tell you! |
| lisashea | posted 29-Jul-1998 2:04pm When I was 6 everyone at my birthday party tickled me and I ran unhappily to my mom. Tickling is fun if it's voluntary, but I hate it when an adult keeps tickling a child when they're really yelling for the adult to stop! It is a very helpless feeling when you're being tickled and you don't want to be. |
| steve | posted 29-Jul-1998 2:22pm I can be tickled pretty much anywhere on my body if you're trying to, and I NEVER want to be tickled. But the from-across-the-room thing doesn't work on me. Good options. |
| daver | posted 29-Jul-1998 3:35pm Not in the slightest...to the frustration of certain would-be ticklers... **Atzilut: Not anymore... |
| Resy | posted 29-Jul-1998 4:03pm I have a couple of places where I'm always ticklish, but I can toughen my feet so that they aren't. Sometimes, I'm just in a giggling mode and even my fingers are ticklish! This can be very bad for me since developing asthma -- laughing too much can trigger an attack -yuck. |
| ron2112 | posted 29-Jul-1998 4:41pm And I HATE being tickled. My SO doesn't seem to be able to come to terms with this. I have stated over and over how I feel about it and that I consider it an assault. She tries to restrain herself but sometimes she forgets. I'm not even kidding about this; I have serious issues with tickling that go back to my childhood. I find it intensely unpleasant and I can get quite angry and/or depressed after being tickled. |
| Farmboy | posted 29-Jul-1998 4:58pm You could e-mail me your intent to tickle me it'll happen. Much to the joy of my SO. |
| Pomeranian | posted 29-Jul-1998 5:00pm yes, and I also happen to really enjoy it. Though, I guess some people really find it painful. |
| gilly | posted 29-Jul-1998 5:26pm Only a few areas, and mostly when I most want *not* to be ticklish. |
| romkey | posted 29-Jul-1998 10:37pm very rarely. never on my feet. |
| lelle | posted 30-Jul-1998 9:53am I've never been ticklish, even as a child. There are certain things that make me squirm, though. :) |
| Mark | posted 30-Jul-1998 10:10am I am ticklish, more so in some places than others. I can control it fairly well, though, for a few seconds, at least. What mood I am in affects my ticklishness, too. |
| seven | posted 30-Jul-1998 11:17am I don't giggle. Giggle's a strange word. |
| lizzie | posted 30-Jul-1998 11:33am Some tickling is OK, but some tickling is not. My brothers used to sit on me and tickle my feet until I wanted to scream, so I hate being tickled there. Other places it is OK though, and sometimes I get hypersensitive and any gentle touch will make me jump. |
| seanhuxter | posted 3-Aug-1998 10:56am It gets very embarassing sometimes. |
| jonas | posted 3-Aug-1998 1:47pm For some reason my automatic reaction is to suppress laughter. So I am, but only when I want to be. Also in the morning before I am awake enough to suppress it. |
| copprtop | posted 4-Aug-1998 9:29am I am ticklish in certain spots whether I want to be or not, but I can also be selectively ticklish in other spots. However, anyone who tries to tickle my ticklish spots better be prepared to dodge flailing limbs. |
| elijahblue | posted 19-Aug-1998 2:41am Some people are able to tickle me, others are not. Don't know why. Boyfriends usually are able to, unfortunately. It can be used as a weapon. |
| Atzilut | posted 25-Aug-1998 5:11pm Farmboy: I'm running an ostritch feather over the back of your neck right now. slowly. and every time you turn around, I'm not there. |
| nuttinatti | posted 19-Feb-2006 2:32pm hyper ticklish... really bad... :( |
| Kira1 | posted 6-Mar-2006 1:10am I voted yes, somewhat. I am hyper-ticklish on my underarms! My sides and stomach are somewhat ticklish. My legs and feet are not ticklish at all (I think my underarms make up for them not being ticklish). |
| StJimmy | posted 20-May-2006 3:20pm TICKLING ROCKS!!!! |
