Have you ever gotten a joke years later?

Something happened or was said to you, or maybe it was a traditional joke being recited, but it never quite registered, always seemed a touch non-sequiter, then bingo, sound of one hand clapping, doh, it all makes sense.

Nope. If I didn't get the joke, I probably wouldn't remember it years later.

Well not years later.

You know sometimes, I'm starting to get all the things that happened around me, but those weren't jokes. They were real life things.

I've been laying in bed hours after someone told me a joke roaring laughing to myself. It's common with me.I have a strange sense of humour anyway, so people don't bat an eye when I laugh over 'nothing'
