At a laser show downtown. It was pretty cool... My favorite part was right at the very second Dorothy opens the front door of her house after it lands in OZ and right when you see a tiny sliver of color, the cash register in 'Money' starts.

There is nothing particularly uncanny about it I'm sure. I've listened to countless albums whilst watching television, and it usually seems to work. It is just a trick of the mind. We are so used to seeing visuals and music together, that it always appears that they are in synch. I'm sure the same would hold true if you listened to "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" whilst watching "The Sound of Music".
