There's a lot of magazines I wouldn't want to be seen reading - especially those magazines that I wouldn't normally choose to read.

Nothing comes to mind. Porn? No. Modern Bride? No. Tiger Beat? No. People? No.

It would probably depend on where I was at. If it was porn/hard core stuff, I wouldn't want to be seen with it at work. Not out of embarrassment, but because I would get in trouble with the supervisor. Our company is owned by Mormons.

not really i don't think. there are plenty of magazines i just wouldn't read but i don't think if i was looking at something i would be embarrassed to be reading it.

Fashion magazines, teen magazines etc. etc. - anything vapid in other words. But since there's no reason for me to ever be holding them that shouldn't prove a problem. Porn, fetish mags etc. etc. don't bother me.

A couple times, I have been browsing at bookstores, and picked up a magazine with an unfamiliar title, only to find it was a "girlie" magazine for men, or a magazine targeted at people with an alternative lifestyle (gays), so I just put it back quickly. I guess the only time I would be embarrassed to be holding a magazine would be if I was trying to steal it from the doctor's office or something, and got caught.

"People". No offense to anyone, but whenever someone sees me reading that magazine I feel like the biggest gossipy and materialistic person out there. Ugh.

I can't think of any specific one's off the top of head, but yes. Maybe a hunting magazine or Fundamentalist Weekly. Anything that completely goes against my beliefs. Funny enough, I have been seen several times holding/reading the National Enquirer and was never embarassed.
