I don't need an alter ego, but sometimes i email my friend and ask him to give me a good vote on a survey. I can always ask my wife too, but she may not help with her vote.

I once created a second account in order to create a survey that I didn't want to be anonymous, but didn't want to be me either. But I forgot the password and never used it! I also helped a friend create an account, but he doesn't use it very often so I could, theoretically, get away with using it myself (I've still got it bookmarked on my computer from when I set it up for him). But I don't.

No, and I think that's a stinky thing to do. Why can't people just be themselves? I only condone extra user names for humorous intent. Some people take survey ratings and such far too seriously.

I made one for a joke comment once- I don't even remember what the password was. I used it once, made a silly comment in the name of a celebrity, then dropped it.

If a survey of mine can't get through qualification, probably it's not as clever as it sounds inside my head. The world is funny like that, things change when they're said out loud. Thanks to the qual system I can find out good and early if that has happened.

You're right. It sounds pretty desperate. I wouldn't really do it. I was just kidding. I wonder who it was who said they help me with my surveys. The comment doesn't bother me, and even if it is true, THAT doesn't bother me. It just isn't something I would choose to do. I come to SC just for fun.
