| KelBel | posted 10-Mar-2001 7:30pm I could care less. The only thing I would be jealous of with you going to see U2 is that I want that t-shirt that the one guy wears with the 3 on it!! |
| ASexyBabe | posted 10-Mar-2001 8:17pm I feel like this survey sucks almost as much as U2 |
| confetti | posted 10-Mar-2001 8:43pm I'll marry you. How about that? I am considered to be a really good catch. I've won some beauty contests...and I'm smart too... |
| Pooh_Bear | posted 10-Mar-2001 9:10pm I love the smilies. This survey makes me happy. |
| romkey | posted 10-Mar-2001 9:14pm good for you! I'm planning on going too |
| Jemmy | (reply to confetti) posted 10-Mar-2001 9:36pm ...and modest. |
| confetti | (reply to Jemmy) posted 10-Mar-2001 9:52pm Among my other qualities |
| mandy | posted 10-Mar-2001 10:00pm I'm not indifferent because I'd like to see them but not enough to be even slightly jealous |
| smurf | posted 11-Mar-2001 2:37am Don't think I'd go even if u paid me! |
| msgman | (reply to confetti) posted 11-Mar-2001 10:14am Send me a photo and a copy of your diploma... |
| Biggles | posted 11-Mar-2001 1:57pm I think I'm a little young for this survey |
| Jemmy | (reply to Biggles) posted 11-Mar-2001 2:00pm Have you heard their new album? It's very good. |
| Biggles | posted 11-Mar-2001 2:44pm They have a new album? I'm *really* out of touch with music at the moment! I'm far too busy....... the only things I ever hear is the stuff on Top of the Pops that my brothers corrupt the air with! |
| confetti | (reply to msgman) posted 11-Mar-2001 7:04pm I am warning you, there will probably be a big age difference... |
| kirst | posted 12-Mar-2001 12:45am That's great for you, if you're a fan. |
| jjg | posted 12-Mar-2001 7:18am I don't like U2. |
| anonymous | posted 12-Mar-2001 9:56am This question has a kind of "nyah nyah" quality to it. Why do you want to rub it in the face of those who couldn't get or couldn't even AFFORD tickets? It's kinda mean. |
| Zang | posted 12-Mar-2001 10:26am I saw U2 on their first North American tour in 1981. They played the Commodore Ballroom, in Vancouver. Capacity 2000 (ish). At that point, they had one album out, "Boy", and the big single was "I Will Follow". |
| Maarten | posted 12-Mar-2001 10:36am Here the 52,000 tickets (3 gigs) were sold in 20 minutes. |
| msgman | (reply to confetti) posted 12-Mar-2001 10:47am Hmmm. If you're one of the two people who voted "extremely jealous", then you're probably a bit young for me |
| msgman | (reply to anonymous) posted 12-Mar-2001 10:48am Well, I'm sorry if I offended you. |
| msgman | (reply to Maarten) posted 12-Mar-2001 10:51am Much the same happened here. The pre-sale tickets (for those who had registered at the U2 website) were due to go on sale at 10.00am, so a bunch of us at work sat at our terminals repeatedly pressing "refresh" on our browsers. It wasn't until 10.30 when the sale link actually came up, and the ticket website immediately slowed to an absolute crawl - it took me 20 minutes to get through and book tickets. 5 minutes later they had sold out. |
| confetti | (reply to msgman) posted 12-Mar-2001 4:56pm I didn't, but what's wrong with being extremely jealous? U2's great! |
| they | posted 13-Mar-2001 1:30am I feel like you were just looking for a way to say it. |
| jkiehart | posted 14-Mar-2001 11:51am I don't like U2, I didn't even read the other options, I just checked "other." My friend is going to see them, she bought two tickets at $125 apiece. I almost smacked her. What an insane waste of money. U2. Puh-lease. |
| supplicant | (reply to romkey) posted 19-Mar-2001 12:50pm ZooTV was a great tour. I saw it and loved it, my sister saw it three times (she was overseas and saw it, then came back here and ended up working at two of the gigs they did here). Personally I thought Popmart was a major letdown. After that disappointment, and considering what I think of their latest album (it's ok, but should be a lot more than ok), I will definitely not be going if they are coming this way. |
| Jane | posted 23-Mar-2001 3:04pm cool...I've got tickets to Dave Matthews Band, so there. |
| SueBee | posted 1-Apr-2001 11:54pm I'm not a U2 fan, so I couldn't care less. Cute survey, though! At first I thought it sounded snobbish, but I love your use of the emoticons! |
| Iseult | posted 10-Apr-2001 10:50pm Good for you. |
| ASexyBabesToy | posted 12-May-2001 8:00am This year so far I will be seeing Black Crowes, Oasis,STP,Incubus,Staind,Deftones,Live and Oleander. |
