| doom | posted 6-Jul-1998 3:28pm Banana, caramel, coffee, strawberry, and orange. I am not to happy with nuts mixed with my chocolate. |
| Jody | posted 6-Jul-1998 3:37pm You forgot coconut! Bounty bars beat Mounds hands-down. Also tasty are chocolate-covered cherries. |
| milktree | posted 6-Jul-1998 3:42pm garlic! |
| jjg | posted 6-Jul-1998 3:49pm Either milk or bananas. A bar of chocolate and a glass of milk can't be beat. Peanut butter from a jar is a good third. |
| reality | posted 6-Jul-1998 4:08pm milk.. sheesh.. one big ol' frosty glass of milk. geez, how can you forget milk. |
| lizzie | posted 6-Jul-1998 4:53pm I picked almonds, peanuts and strawberries. Chocolate fondue is your friend! ***OOOh, I forgot pretzels! Chocolate covered pretzels are THE BEST. Peanut butter and chocolate are very tasty together, too. |
| jonathan | posted 6-Jul-1998 5:17pm Guinness is wonderful w/chocolate. So's whatever that stuff (nougat, yeah, that's it) that's in 3 Musketeers and Snickers. |

| bill | posted 6-Jul-1998 7:12pm peanut butter, pretzels, cakey things ***Steve, if you wanted, you could use the "sort" widget at the bottom of this page (then hit save changes), and the answers will be sorted - you can undo it too if you just want to try it. New feature, I'm just trying to spread the word. **Everyone, you can go back to your old surveys and sort them if you like (it's reversible). Only authors have the ability to change sorting. |
| RatQueen | posted 6-Jul-1998 7:30pm Vanilla...mmm...oh yeah, and whipped cream. I adore chocolate and whipped cream. |
| steve | posted 6-Jul-1998 7:32pm *I* can't believe I forgot cherry and coconut. Will, do you have any garlic and chocolate recipes that you'd be willing to share? (steve@eddie.mit.edu) These are the twin pillars of my cuisine and, like pillars, they've always been parallel. |
| jzp | posted 6-Jul-1998 10:23pm flesh. |
| Gamera | posted 7-Jul-1998 12:29am So many things, but since I knew you wanted us to try, I was good and limited myself to just coffee and hazelnut. You should do the same survey again, steve, with the same list, but ask what does NOT go with chocolate, too. |
| Katea | posted 7-Jul-1998 4:04am I love choc bars with almonds in them, or coffee and chocolate cake but me favourite is strawberries dipped in melted Albany chocolate! And you forget the thing that makes chocolate taste best...sharing it with a friend or lover. |

| nbarone | posted 7-Jul-1998 7:03pm chocolate and peanut/peanut butter is my favorite sweet combination. pretzels and almonds are also good. ***jonathan & ron2112 - yes! i think i'll have a chocolate guiness float right now! mmmmmm...... |
| hunter | posted 7-Jul-1998 10:04pm Before Sunday I might not have said "orange" but steve has made a believer out of me. Wowza! What that man can do with sugar! |
| ron2112 | posted 8-Jul-1998 8:36am Tequila. No, I'm not kidding. I had a bottle of tequila in a travel bag with some Hershey bars once; I left the bag in the car and the chocolate melted all over the cap, neck, and mouth of the bottle. I took a swig straight from the bottle (not something I would typically do, but this was nbarone's bachelor party) and it was surprisingly yummy! ***jonathan: Ever have a Guinness float with chocolate ice cream? Absolutely too good. ***jen: Remind me never to have chocolate at your house... ***nbarone: Hey, didn't I buy that Guinness in your fridge? Save some for me, dude! |
