| darkshadowsseeker | posted 25-Feb-2001 6:53pm Especially around that "time of the month" or if I ingest MSG. Certain artificial colors in foods can also trigger a migraine. |
| juliw | posted 25-Feb-2001 6:53pm No, but people have they told me how horrible they are |
| they | posted 25-Feb-2001 7:57pm A few. |
| Enheduanna | posted 25-Feb-2001 8:44pm Well, I have mild ones often enough to be more than "a few times," but I wouldn't say I have them chronically. |
| nasale | posted 25-Feb-2001 9:07pm Yup, I get them not a few and not a lot. When I do, I hope it never happens again. |

| ASexyBabe | (reply to Richard) posted 26-Feb-2001 8:25am I get them pretty often. Then again maybe They are not that often they just hurt so bad it seems they are very often. |
| Pooh_Bear | posted 26-Feb-2001 9:45am Supposedly, the migraines I get are a long-term side affect from the epidural I received during my c-section. They're killer |
| Jemmy | posted 26-Feb-2001 10:59am Once, maybe twice. |
| Pooh_Bear | posted 26-Feb-2001 11:06am Okay, I meant effect, not affect. I have a killer migraine right now and grammar/spelling has gone right out the window. |
| Pooh_Bear | posted 26-Feb-2001 11:08am Have, I meant "grammar/spelling have". I'm going to bed now. Good night. |
| Jemmy | (reply to Pooh_Bear) posted 26-Feb-2001 11:11am I hope you feel better! |
| jkiehart | posted 26-Feb-2001 12:58pm Yes! Oh they're awful. I've had between five and ten in my life. My mom used to get them something fierce. |
| Mariah | posted 26-Feb-2001 1:27pm Before I hit puberty, I used to get them about every other week. Now, maybe four or five a year. |
| Mariah | posted 26-Feb-2001 1:29pm A sure fire way for me to instantly get one is Nutri-Sweet. There are a couple of other foods that supposedly do it for me, but they are kind of 50-50. |
| Pooh_Bear | (reply to Jemmy) posted 26-Feb-2001 3:30pm Thanks. I do. |
| confetti | posted 26-Feb-2001 8:15pm Yeah, it runs in my family. I often get such terrible headaches that I have to miss school for days on end... |
| Richard | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 26-Feb-2001 11:37pm Hare Krishna! |
| KelBel | posted 27-Feb-2001 11:12am No. I very rarely get headaches either. |
| BlueberryMuffin | posted 28-Feb-2001 5:59am I had a migraine headache once as a child. I remember the pain being so intense that I couldn't even blink without screaming. |
| autumnlight | posted 1-Mar-2001 8:05am Yeah, i have to have migraleve prescribed by the doctor. |
| ASexyBabe | posted 1-Mar-2001 8:33am My mom was telling me about her friend that has migraines so bad that she goes blind and is paralized when she has them. She is scared to go anywhere she can't drive or anything cause a migraine could happen at anytime and she would wreck. That would be scary. |
| tcb | posted 4-Mar-2001 11:39am Fudgein' OW! Debilitating, can't think, pain searing, hanging upside down helps a little bit, no pain killers work, but wait... is that a full bowl? Ahhhhh... |
| wavez2000 | posted 9-Mar-2001 10:52pm plus my brother had them and on occasion still do..he lives on his own and when he has them the few times he does, he'll come over and it will be like when he was a kid again..untill it goes away.. the few times ive had them i couldnt think..i just tried not to cry holding my breath at times..not even asprin helped..like at work, a friend gave me a excedrin migrane pill, it didnt work..but i went and got hot black coffee and sat in the dark with the lights of the computer going..it was great..my headache went away quickly.. |
| kaleb777 | posted 14-Mar-2001 3:01pm I used to get them all the time. I first see lights which make it impossible to read anything, then I get excruciating pain, usually on only one side at a time, then I feel nauseas and end up throwing up. I stopped eating anything with artificial colors or flavors, including nutrasweet, and now I rarely get one. I wouldn't wish migraine headaches on my worst enemy. |
| bppubjr | posted 21-Mar-2001 8:25pm I've never experienced one, but I've seen how bad they can be. Ugly, very ugly. |
| melvinkropotnik | posted 26-Mar-2001 4:31pm Feels like an alien is trying to hatch from my brain. |

| ASexyBabe | posted 31-May-2001 10:02am The last bad one I had, I was so out of it that my husband had to call work for me and tell them I couldn't come in. I don't remember anything from that period of time either. |
| Lahdee | posted 31-May-2001 11:26am I just had the worst one of my life last night & threw up off and on for 3 hours. I still feel gross. |
| Cleo | posted 30-Jun-2001 2:26am I have migraines all the time. |
