Especially around that "time of the month" or if I ingest MSG. Certain artificial colors in foods can also trigger a migraine.

Well, I have mild ones often enough to be more than "a few times," but I wouldn't say I have them chronically.

Yup, I get them not a few and not a lot. When I do, I hope it never happens again.

I get them pretty often. Then again maybe They are not that often they just hurt so bad it seems they are very often.

Supposedly, the migraines I get are a long-term side affect from the epidural I received during my c-section. They're killer

Okay, I meant effect, not affect. I have a killer migraine right now and grammar/spelling has gone right out the window.

Yes! Oh they're awful. I've had between five and ten in my life. My mom used to get them something fierce.

Before I hit puberty, I used to get them about every other week. Now, maybe four or five a year.

A sure fire way for me to instantly get one is Nutri-Sweet. There are a couple of other foods that supposedly do it for me, but they are kind of 50-50.

I had a migraine headache once as a child. I remember the pain being so intense that I couldn't even blink without screaming.

My mom was telling me about her friend that has migraines so bad that she goes blind and is paralized when she has them. She is scared to go anywhere she can't drive or anything cause a migraine could happen at anytime and she would wreck. That would be scary.

Fudgein' OW!
Debilitating, can't think, pain searing, hanging upside down helps a little bit, no pain killers work, but wait... is that a full bowl? Ahhhhh...

plus my brother had them and on occasion still do..he lives on his own and when he has them the few times he does, he'll come over and it will be like when he was a kid again..untill it goes away..
the few times ive had them i couldnt think..i just tried not to cry holding my breath at times..not even asprin helped..like at work, a friend gave me a excedrin migrane pill, it didnt work..but i went and got hot black coffee and sat in the dark with the lights of the computer going..it was great..my headache went away quickly..

I used to get them all the time. I first see lights which make it impossible to read anything, then I get excruciating pain, usually on only one side at a time, then I feel nauseas and end up throwing up. I stopped eating anything with artificial colors or flavors, including nutrasweet, and now I rarely get one. I wouldn't wish migraine headaches on my worst enemy.

The last bad one I had, I was so out of it that my husband had to call work for me and tell them I couldn't come in. I don't remember anything from that period of time either.
