| they | posted 7-Feb-2001 6:39pm Everything should be done over the internet. No tax though. |
| natsim | posted 7-Feb-2001 6:41pm People should be permitted to use the Internet as a way of finding a child to adopt, but the actual adoption should not happen over the Internet. |
| hildagard | posted 7-Feb-2001 7:56pm No that's just not right. |
| daver | posted 8-Feb-2001 9:15am How exactly does one adopt a child over the Internet: does the adoption agency email you the child? Perhaps you're asking if adoption agencies should use the Internet to communicate with their clients; I fail to see how that is substantively different that communicating using the telephone or fax. |
| jkiehart | posted 8-Feb-2001 10:34am Dunno. |
| Jemmy | posted 8-Feb-2001 11:31am I don't think so, unless there is a really good way to tell if the child is going to a good home before the adoption is complete. |
| Timmer | posted 8-Feb-2001 6:25pm NO! Everyone on the internet are a bunch a freaks! Just look at all of you people!!!! lol I'm kidding!!! |
| ASexyBabesToy | posted 9-Feb-2001 3:08am I believe the last person to be adopted over the internet was Magbast. Case closed. |
| cody | posted 9-Feb-2001 3:50pm I dont think it is a simple issue, and my rather complex opinion is too long for me to bother stating. |
| cody | posted 9-Feb-2001 3:51pm Is it just me, or is there some mud-slinging occuring on SC? |
| jettles | posted 9-Feb-2001 6:42pm i think we should be able to find information, research, contact the proper people in the proper channels but that the paperwork and transactions should be done in person. and the people contacted on the internet should be required to show or display the proper identification or license or certificate, whatever. |

| ASexyBabe | (reply to cody) posted 10-Feb-2001 9:07am mudslinging between whom? |
| nasale | posted 25-Feb-2001 6:09pm Absotively, posilutely not! It can be chancy rhe way it is now let alone taking it one more step removed. There are so many kids that need adoption that aren't babies and aren't taken it's sad. They probably should be profiled but I think the parents should be selected carefully-not the kids. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to cody) posted 26-Feb-2001 10:38am If you are talking about ASexyBabestoy and magbast don't pay attention to them. They just recently became related. |
| Iseult | posted 11-Apr-2001 9:14pm No. They first have to get to know the children. |
