I do not envy anyone, because just because someone else has certain things I would like to have--better looks, more money, or whatever-does not mean they are a happier person. Everyone has their problems, weaknesses, and strengths

I try to refrain from envying anyone. Sometimes I envy people who look really really groovy.

My 'evel' cousin that plays piano better than me. I wish I had his talent. I am still good, by the way.

I don't know if envy is the right word. There are a few people I guess I wouldn't mind being for a day, but I think that's about all I'd want.

I am who I am. (profound statement, huh? * smile * ) Why would I want to be like anyone else? Then I wouldn't be me anymore!

I sometimes envy people who have things I want and think I deserve. But then I realize that they are usually lacking things that *I* have, and strive to be content. It's very hard to be content in a culture that is constantly flinging images of "more is better" at me.

I don't envy anyone. Often I see traits I admire which I might try to develop in myself.

Do you plan to keep it in a jar, perhaps serving little slices on crackers at special occasions, or do you hope to have the thing installed, perhaps in your hip or shoulder blade (maybe that's what quasimodo had going)? and will you be disconnecting the personality subroutines?

I had a nightmare when I lived in the shelter. I was in a hospital bed where I was fed through tubes because they wanted to humble me (to the point of not having any opinions on what was done to me or how I was to serve) and get me used to the idea of not having a body. A covert super-computor company was in the business of providing rich clients with organic computer assistants and I was discovering first hand how these computers were made.

I had actually thought of just severing his head and having it sewn on next to mine.

That dream of yours would make a great X-Files episode

She is great. Claire is now 9 months and is crawling all over the boat. Our poor cat!
How's your daughter? She must be over a year (at least).

No one, really, because when you get to know people who seem very successful and happy initially, it usually turns out they are just as miserable as most other people are. And I prefer my known, tried-and-true miseries.
