Religion? I am by no means religious. I am a born-again Christian, who believes that Jesus died for my sins, and rose from the dead, so that by His precious blood I am forgiven of my sins and I will met Him in Heaven when I die. Religion refers to a "system of faith and worship". It has a lot of do's & don'ts, and unattainable rules & regulations. I have a relationship with Christ, not a religion. Religion works from the outside-in (appearances), but following Jesus changes the inside (heart) first.

I believe in a higher power, but I don't think I need religion to be in touch with that higher power.

I don't believe in organized religion either. I get so disgusted when this church, then that church says we are the "right" church, we are the "right" religion. My response, "Prove it."

Wicca and Pagan would fall under the same catagory because Wiccans are Pagan. I am Wiccan.

You didn't question him or argue your point. You don't have to change your survey just because someone tells you to, you can explain why you don't change it. I'm not going to argue with you about whether or not cody is an butt-hole.. but are you calling him one just because he tried to help you with your survey?

I am Roman Catholic, but having said that, I agree with just about everything you said. I think being "Christian" is more about following the golden rule, and helping your fellow man than about going to Mass.

People should be that way whether they are Christian or not, and I don't think people need religion to learn and follow the golden rule. My parents taught me, and we didn't go to church very much at all.

I'm Lutheran.
But it doens't matter, because I'm sure that God hates me.
What ever I prayed for, the opposite happened.
But Jesus likes me still.

Did you ever consider the possibility that "bad" things happen because you need the experience? Maybe you need to learn these lessons now to get where you are going in life.

I don't know.
Bad things happen to everyone, and they are the result of our sins.
If there was no sins, we would live in the perfect world.
But I guess that there are still some people like I that don't think that life would be interesting without doing those sinnful things.
Maybe one day I'll chill down, probably when I'm older, and dedicate my life to God, because I strongly believe that he's up there.
Than, my life will change for sure, and as you said, if I gain experience, I'll learn my lessons.

As nice as it sounds, I think a perfect world would get really boring. Try not to let that Christian guilt get you down too much.

I agree. It would be just too perfect to have any fun.
Thanks for advice, I know few people who would freak out, calling the shrink if I told them this.
