| daver | posted 9-Jan-2001 8:58pm I rarely have coins on my person so I rarely lose them in my furniture. |
| Matt | posted 9-Jan-2001 9:08pm I looked inside the sofa in the hotel room, I dropped my change. |
| Richard | (reply to Matt) posted 9-Jan-2001 9:11pm Did you find your change? |
| Matt | (reply to Richard) posted 9-Jan-2001 9:12pm Yeah I did! I was happy too, that was my lunch money! |
| kirsty | posted 9-Jan-2001 9:15pm I had to find the bloody remote for the TV, always goes down there! |
| Richard | (reply to Matt) posted 9-Jan-2001 9:42pm Krishna's Mercy! |
| Enheduanna | posted 9-Jan-2001 10:42pm I searched someone else's sofa cushions for someone else's cell phone last week. |
| Matt | (reply to Richard) posted 9-Jan-2001 10:54pm Thats why I had an urge to chant! Hare Krishna! |
| jettles | posted 9-Jan-2001 10:55pm no, but it sounds like a good idea this week!!!!! |
| bill | posted 10-Jan-2001 6:54am no, but my cats did... they were looking for rattley toy mice and crunchy shiny soft balls, not coins. Though, if they had found a coin, I suspect they would have played with that as well (or ate it). |
| Jody | posted 10-Jan-2001 8:51am No, but while cleaning a sofa sometime in the 80's I found a coin purse which had been there since 1968 (the latest date on a coin in the purse). |
| nasale | posted 10-Jan-2001 9:44am I'm always searching for something in my couch. I have a bad habit of losing EVERYTHING! |
| jkiehart | posted 10-Jan-2001 1:46pm Nope. I do NOT want to know what the heck is down there. |
| Jemmy | posted 10-Jan-2001 6:42pm No. I haven't needed money for a while. |

| Biggles | posted 12-Jan-2001 2:06pm What on earth is a futon? It sounds like something from Star Trek! |
| Zang | (reply to Biggles) posted 12-Jan-2001 6:58pm A futon is a very firm mattress which doubles as a sofa. The frame, which is made of wood, sort of hinges up in the middle to create the sofa effect. The mattress is like a big cloth bag, I think is is stuffed with pocket lint or something. They are amazingly versatile and uncomfortable no matter which piece of furniture they are impersonating at the time. |
| 1cor13 | posted 13-Jan-2001 1:43am Looked for my sister-in-law's keys and found them. |
| Biggles | (reply to Zang) posted 13-Jan-2001 9:57am Thanks |
| they | posted 13-Jan-2001 11:06am NO, but my SO found a baby mouse and searched for the rest of the family in an old couch. It had been sitting behind the shed for a while and he was getting ready to chop it up to dispose of it. He rescued them all and showed the mother where they were... I was so proud of him |
| nasale | (reply to they) posted 13-Jan-2001 12:02pm Hey1 what a sweetheart! I have a mouse at the place I run and I'm so unhappy about having to bump the little guy off with bait but I have no choice. Some people just 'lose it' at the mention of a mouse. Give him a hug for me! |
| mandy | (reply to they) posted 13-Jan-2001 3:54pm YAY!!!! |
| Zang | (reply to Biggles) posted 13-Jan-2001 11:08pm You're very welcome! |
| juliw | posted 14-Jan-2001 11:12am But I did search the bottom of my purse for coins. I also looked in my tote bag that I take to work everyday. |
| juliw | (reply to they) posted 14-Jan-2001 11:22am I also think your SO sounds really sweet. I am scared to death of mice, which is why I am now the owner of two cats. But I still think that is a nice thing he did. |
| they | (reply to juliw) posted 14-Jan-2001 11:30am He is normally scared to death of them too... One of our cats brought a mole into the house recently, and when it ran over his booted foot.. he screamed like a woman. I was the one who had to rescue it. |
| autumnlight | posted 23-Jan-2001 6:15am I searched for a lighter in my mates sofa yesterday |
| Violet | posted 6-Feb-2001 3:18pm My roommate owes me hundreds of dollars, so I didn't feel bad about searching between the cushions of her couch for change to do the laundry (mine AND hers). |
| magbast | posted 10-Feb-2001 2:55am a remote in the recliner |
| magbast | (reply to they) posted 10-Feb-2001 2:57am i do not scream like a woman.... i scream like a girl |
