How do you eat soup?

My hands are good utensils. But the liquid for some reason drips more on my pants then in my mouth.

I only eat home-made vegetarian soup though.....

I put lots and lots of crackers in my soup making it almost paste-like, then eating it more like a stew!

Wow! I was about to mention chopsticks when I noticed there was an option for that! I eat *everything* with chopsticks, so that was a very nice surprise.

Most soup I eat with a spoon. I eat ramen with a fork and sipping; I eat miso with chopsticks and sipping.

depends on the soup... a soup with udon or soba noodles I'll often eat with chopsticks, or I'll use chopsticks to pick up the tofu and seaweed from miso soup... but chopsticks aren't too helpful with a squash soup or tomato soup.

I don't eat soup.

I don't know where the etiquette actually comes from, but I always scoop the spoon away from me as it enters the soup bowl.

I love those little oyster crackers in my soup (no, they're not made of real oysters, they're hexagonal and moderately pillow-shaped in the middle).

I also eat *everything* with chopsticks!

I think it comes from Mrs. Manners or something. My mother made sure I learned how to eat properly. Also, when you get almost finished with the soup you are to tip the bowl slightly away from you to spoon what is left from the bowl.

I often eat soup out of a coffee mug or a cafe au lait bowl.

Oh, and occasionally I eat soup out of the container it came in.

Nope, I'm not quadriplegic.
And I'm only Irish on St. Patty's Day & when my temper gets the best of me (yes, I've red hair.)
I've never lived in Oklahoma, but I've been there visiting family.
I consider my self a good witch, although I don't practice as much as I used to.

I'm not a big soup eater, but when I do, I slurp. It doesn't taste good unless you slurp.

I just know how my baby feels about soup

I eat my soup out of a big mug with a handle. I usually use a spoon, but sometimes I sip some of the liquid from the mug of soup. If I am eating tomato soup, I usually have a grilled cheese sandwich, and sometimes dunk the sandwich in the soup. Mmmm...
