| Strider | (reply to Jemmy) posted 4-Dec-2000 12:27am One of my curent favorites other then Survivor is Junkyard Wars on TLC. It is just a retilte of the british series Scrapheap Chalenge in wich teams of 2 each have 10 hours to build a machine of some kind. http://tlc.discovery.com/tlcpages/junkyard/junkyard.html (link to tlc page) http://www.channel4.com/nextstep/scrapheap2000/main.html (link to british page) |

| Jody | posted 4-Dec-2000 10:51am Price is Right is still pretty good when your brain is turned off. I also enjoyed Match Game, Name That Tune, Split Second, Concentration, What's My Line, To Tell The Truth, Beat The Clock, The Joker's Wild, and a really cheesy old one called The New Treasure Hunt. The new Hollywood Squares doesn't hold a candle to the old one (it's nowhere near as fun without Paul Lynde), and Family Feud is sorely lacking without Richard Dawson. |
| Jemmy | (reply to Strider) posted 4-Dec-2000 11:22am I know! I can't wait. I hope someone better wins this time. |

| kaleb777 | posted 4-Dec-2000 3:42pm Wheel of Fortune. I started to watch "Who ...millionaire?" but they take so long to answer the questions and I got the craps with it. |
| drdt | posted 4-Dec-2000 6:25pm Win Ben Stein's Money (I didn't realize Battlebots was considered a gameshow.) |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 4-Dec-2000 10:06pm Jeopardy. Let's make a deal used to be fun. I don't watch them more than a couple times a year. |
| Jody | posted 5-Dec-2000 9:19am Oh, and of course, there was the so-bad-you-have-to-watch-it Gong Show?! |
| nihon | posted 5-Dec-2000 5:20pm I watch TV, but I don't have a favorite game show. I sometimes like to watch them. |
| ASB | (reply to Jemmy) posted 6-Dec-2000 10:07am What do you mean by better? The best man won for sure he stuck it out when the others couldnt hang. |
| Jemmy | (reply to ASB) posted 6-Dec-2000 5:10pm I didn't really care for Richard much. |
| Grandizer | posted 9-Dec-2000 5:11am Survivor... Although I just saw an ad for a new FOX tv series in January, they will send 4 unmarried couples to an island with 16 other "Beautiful / Handsome" people who's duty is to try to get them to stray from their loved ones. I think this one will appeal to the voyeur in me. |
| mandy | (reply to Grandizer) posted 10-Dec-2000 11:40am That is the most horrible thing I've ever heard. |
| daver | posted 12-Dec-2000 9:30pm Junkyard Wars. In fact, that's about the only TV I watch. |

| Corntree | posted 16-Dec-2000 3:32am Family Feud with Richard Dawson is my definite favorite... he was one of the best game show hosts ever... I recently found out on imdb.com that Ray Combs(the second host of FF) committed suicide in 1996... I was honestly shocked... he was the host I grew up watching and stuff, so it was a big thing... I had no idea that had happened... |
| Grandizer | (reply to mandy) posted 17-Dec-2000 2:14am I don't think it is too bad, but I do like the aspects that might form... Imagine, how many of the men and women will degenerate to their baser forms when presented with numerous willing people??? How much stronger will a couple that doesn't succumb be? Ahhh I love this new breed of Voyeurism TV! |
| jkiehart | posted 21-Dec-2000 3:01pm Jeopardy! But Alex Trebek's getting on my nerves, and I'm not liking how they're trying to "jazz it up." They're getting odd categories these days. Trying to compete with "...Millionaire." |
